I've been so totally obsessed with learning music these days that I almost forgot to talk about comics...

Also, ENERGY, if you're interested in music composition, I liked The complete idiot's guide to music (theory)/(composition). I can't really compare it to any other books, as they're the only ones I've read on the subject, but I found them pretty easy to read and instructive and super easy to steal off the internet.
