Hey guys its been QUITE a while,

I would like to return to void and get back into artwork full force. Asides from doodles here and there I would say its been...god two years.

Anywho...I think I have hit a wall with Jira and especially regarding my bad record with him here in the past and my completion rate. So I think a new character is in order for a while!

Here is actually the end result of a silhouette exercise I did to try to break myself out of my standard character type...even there still ended up being a bloody katana...old habits.

I know these are rough but I was hoping to just get some feedback on the feel you guys get from these prospects so far (I am so far most partial to top right).

Thanks and hope to battle you guys soon!

Dunno what video was going for....another silhouette study this morning. Like this one a bit better.

Im also trying to get used to doing all digital work, i cant seem to find a way to clean up my lines no matter what. And all my drawings seem to be in a sketchy style. Ill try to post some traditional soon too.

Yeah, it takes a while to get used to all digital. But I like the style you've got going right now, and those silhouettes are sweet! Honestly, I think you could turn any of your drawings into a character if you just added a story to them and gave them a real personality, etc. The designs look great, albeit a bit sketchy, but they don't mean much to me without a story or some sequentials to give them life.

In other words, pick a character you like, do some sequentials, and post in the incubator! I want to see you in action, man!

Free sketch of one of the designs up close. Need to keep going, having difficulty with the gauntlet. Think Im going with the one on the top in the center.

Trying to refine this design and my skills at the same time. At least he feels like he is shaping up.

The silhouette has developed into a asymmetrically armored gauntlet fighter. What it does....I have no clue yet. Designs and interesting clothing are one of my weaker areas. Practice, practice, practice!
