excellent! so the best way to do this is reference reference reference.



for profiles, one of the most common mistakes i see is people stacking legs right on top of each other, like a chair leg. but people aren't build that way. in your drawings, see how the center of their mass is kinda way in front, like on their toes? legs are actually pretty deep, so thighs come out almost even with the abdomen and torso to balance out the junk in the trunk. it makes a very pleasing "S" shape when combined with the lower legs.

for your head on views, there's plenty of reference out there i'm sure you can find. it's really just about getting your lines and shapes confident and consistent.

go draw real people if you can, if not get photos.

why did you delete everything?

 I don't think he did, he probably just changed the location they were stored at on photobucket and it broke the link. Good to see that you're practicing, J. Keep working on your anatomy, don't be afraid to use references and remember wise words once spoken by a certain squid....
  "You can't really draw something you've never seen before." So remember to practice drawing things that are usually hidden from sight too!
