Oh. I would also like to participate.

Though, I have no accepted character yet, would that be any trouble? :O

It SHOULDN'T, but don't quote me on that. (Work on your character, that way there will be for sure no problems.)

Hey, this is your little reminder to get your schedule and affairs in order. Next week is when this is happening, so get ready. (Not this week, this week's Saturday is the 29th.)

I can't take any time off work since I just got back from a month long vacation so I might have to do this a day or two early. If I do that I promise to adhere to  all the rules and stop drawing when my time is up. Thanks for the reminder by the way!

I'm still making sure if I can do this, though it's leaning towards a yes I can so far.

Sorry, I'm gonna have to drop out. I've got too many projects on my plate for this weekend that have recently come up.

Augh I'm going to be another lame drop out. After bargaining with myself and shuffling things around, my new aim in anti-procrastination is to just accept that with my best friend smacking her huge birthday party right in the middle of the weekend and me agreeing to cook my housemates awesome dinner on Friday, if I did this, I would miss the deadline (and I would probably be dead by the end of it).

I might try it by myself when the holidays start. We'll see.

Bonus is that I can at least accept the challenge sitting in my inbox.

Weren't these usually held in conjunction with the 'official' 24HC Day? Their site says its on the 20th & I was looking to go to an event & do one.

Originally it was in conjunction with it and it was my understanding that it was the first Saturday of each month. I saw that it was on the 20th about a week ago and decided that we're going to keep on with the date I have written down.

Plenty of people have their schedules planned out around this already and as far as I'm concerned, it doesn't actually matter what day people do this on as long as they adhere to the rule. I've said throughout this thread if anyone wants to do this later or earlier, that's absolutely fine, but I'm not going to push it back to the 20th.

In the future it may be lined up with the official date or kept on at the first Saturday of October (which makes a lot more sense to me than to keep on changing it, anyways) but this year it'll stay where it's at.

So, long way of answering, you can always just upload it later solo. I'll update the thread with your entry all the same at the end.

EDIT: In fact, since we have a number of people dropping out, we could always have a "2nd wave" of 24 hour comics later this month for those who want to still do it later and have them grouped together if enough people want that.

Maybe we can have a second sign-up list here for people who want to do the 2nd Wave?

I'm up for that, this weekend is just too full of shit for me.

I have made a 2nd sign up for October 20th. If anyone wants to join up for that or whatever, shout it out.

oh my goodness, I was just about to drop and now I don't have to. If I could do wave two instead that would be FABULOUS. I'll try to schedule it so I'm not doing a battle anymore at that time and my homework is done lol.
