Penchant for Disaster (endjoi's sketch thread)

So I gots me a new scanner, which has effectively propelled me out of lurk mode and back into the outstretched arms of void.  Not so much for the first post, mostly because I've just moved and a few of my sketchbooks from the past few months have gone missing.  Also I've realized how little sketching I have done lately, which is shameful.  I aim to amend my ways.  Here's a smathering of old-ish(by interbwebz standards) sketches.

working on some Miette re-design

more Miette sketches, with a summer hat!

naked sketch party!

Birdbarf

more soon, hopefully.  I need to get back in the game.

I'm so super happy you're doing stuff again. I think that first Miette sketch has her arms a little too long, but you clear that right up in the next one you do. Please, get back to battling asap.

a few sketchy goodies.  I love me some character sketches.

a doodle while under the influence of antibiotics. PLease excuse my illegible handwriting.

a sketch for a possible comic about a super hero group who fight ghosts. maybe.

yeah I'll post more soon.  I've been home sick for the past three days and am finally feeling well enough to do productive things.  like drawing.  not productive enough for work though.  plus I'm contagious.  stay back.

so I know my coloring skills are still pretty elementary, but I can't help myself.

Batman 1943.  Spies!  Bombs! Romance! perhaps more to come...

p.s.
this is totally based on my boyfriend and my halloween costume, which was originally intended to be Steampunk batman and catwoman, but ended up being WWII bomber pilot batman and catwoman. wish i had a better picture to share.

Started working on a wee little weekly comic, which does not yet have a name.  I will in the future be posting it on my blorg: http://bevelation.blogspot.com/

I did not know you had an art thread until now.  Now I will compliment your art!  Also on that Molotov Cocktease pic, I have to say that lettering is like extremely loverly.

people were getting shot at in my neighborhood today.  it was weird.  I'm also trying to battle Illustrator and my brain apparently doesn't function that way.  so i gave up for the day and did some doodles in photoshop.

catwoman and some ladies.  because I have a mad crush on catwoman.

this might be the shitiest comic I've ever drawn in my life.  not sure why I posted it.  probably because I think cat butts are funny.

I do really love your art and designs! And I also really enjoy how you draw the shape of a woman's body, if that makes sense.

This seems highly interesting and I will watch over it's development from this point further.

I had almost forgotten about Ayako and Fluffbucket.  If I wasn't busy with other projects I would get all up in a battle using these two again.

I wanted to draw THAT Panel, a la Moebius.  This one: http://theairtightgarage.tumblr.com/tagged/the_apple_pie
here's my rendition:

I need to do a better color version, but my tablet is out of commission at the moment, so it was markers and colored pencils for this one.  I have the line drawing still saved.

;D your still around as well ,Awesome !

first of all, that character sheet, top page is really really clean, love it.

about your panel/drawing:I like what you did with the head ,she looks so strict just her head alone, nice one !
body forms are basically all there so well done !

I do think its missing some contrast overall in the colors, nothing really pops out.
(nevermind,was a bit blind,sorry)
and the anatomy on the ''small'' guy is a bit wonky, but i think you know that or was intentionall.

You can tell its me pretending to be Xena because I'm wearing glasses.  Xena does not wear glasses.  Except for in that one episode where she's reincarnated into a bookish archeologist.  Also I really want to watch Xena right now.

back to 22 page challenge.  only 20 pages to go...
