I'm alive... i swear.

2009 was stagnant for me, i got jack shit done, and i've barley grown as an artist

also, not going to sign up for battles till I'm responsible enough to acutally do them ._.

feel free to attack me with crits and red-lines. please?

dee working redesign, new mechanics.

more of the new redesigned Dee, fluffy coat was just goofing around.
middle sketch with the hat is more what i'm going for.
this variation of Dee is being followed around by nightmare hounds, yay?

i really wish i had more to put up right now :/

Good to see you back, Dee! Nothing like the holidays to bring the whole family back together, haha.

Try doing some finished pieces to get back in the groove. I know your sketches look fine, get back into inking and coloring.

Also, COWTATO!

Nice to see you back! Agreed, perhaps try to finish one of these pictures? Since at the moment it's tough to crit what you have due to them all being very unfinished.

and you found a bajillion amazing fun things to do? :D

I think your coloring looks good when it's a single character on a blank/simple background, but when you have a complex background it starts to get confusing.. the foreground is not really differentiated from the background, and there is kind of a cluttered feeling.. so maybe in your colors, you could play with contrast, like having greater contrast in the foreground, while the backgrounds sort of fade in contrast.

^--- i think it's also the shading, they feel really 'candy-ish'. the style itself have semi realistic proportion, yet the colouring is very shiny- but the lighting source is very all over the place.
I actually like the unfinished style (the one with dee and sakuras) way, way more than the dildo girl.

Get ready- pop it, let's go.

Is it bad that I thought the rocks in the sakura pic were summoning stones? Too much WoW for me.

But yeah, the lack of hilights definitely make it more natural and still eye pleasing. While the candy one looks nice, it wouldn't do good to convey more serious and meaningful tones. More like cheerful situations and settings.

It's nice to see you posting again tho :3
