Aww.. i wish i could've seen the rest of Lune's battle. The high level of art quality shows me that this really must've been something to get done. Like i expected.. both of these battles were amazing. I am blown away by the 7 pages from Indigo. No matter who wins this.. you both should be proud as can be. Awesome work.

Meh, Lune. CG was great but... what happened to the fight? o.o; Still, panelling, coloring and dialogue seems pretty good. Stplmstr: I think the Beyond Battle that you just submitted was a lot clearer than this fight. Was pretty hard to tell what was going on with all the monochrome, but damn... this was natural media? Insane. Good luck you two. :D

omg.... such a hard decision.... Both of you have such a professional quality, it's really hard to say which is better. Lune's fight had a lot of great story material, but I'm gonna have to give Indigo my vote. The color scheme was genius, and the battle was wicked on its own. Great fight, you two.

i like the story on both sides but indigo's touch me,with the last page. Art was tight from both sides, like how both had a nice story to it. indigo made me feel it to the end and i'm sure prolly made alot of people respect lune if they hadn't already

I loved em both as well-Indigo, the monochromatic look with the splashes of color is awesome..amd the action and atyle match it very well-Im impressed, and therefore, sorry to say, will be adding you to my hitlist. Lune-sweet color job and touching dialouge-but you built me up for a kickin fight with no delivery- gotta go with Idigo on this one for that reason,.The quality from both art and color wise-is equally great in my eyes.

It was a valiant effort, Lune. One not to be ashamed of. And FAR better than some of ours...(ma,ely mine... or lack of mine.) Hope things get betyter for you real soon and we can see you back here, if you want to come back.

Master of Staples, for the last time spellcheck your damn work. I swear you're going to start to do this on purpose just to irritate me. Otherwise good work. I like how you fleshed out a satisfying fight. It's also cool to see the new way Indigo uses his abilities make a debut in this fight. Lune, you have awesomely slick work. If my work was as sexy as yours, I'd be set. (That won't likely happen though.) My disappointment was in the anti climax of your fight. You didn't give us a fight. I have to admit that I like the way you opened your story better, but I still came away being unsatisfied. (Oh my, I'm starting to talk dirty now). Unfortunately in my books story comes before blow your load on the screen artwork. Though since your work is fantabulous, I'm going to assume that you ran out of time for more pages. And that is my two cents. There's a no return policy on it. Sorry.

I just wanted to say that I read both of these last night and was blown AWAY by just how high calibur they are. I'm very impressed on both fronts. Very nice job, both of you.

interesting contrast between strips....very different style and execution Stplmstr: the starkness and monochromatic colour scheme really higlights your lines and forms Luni: as always a lovely colouring job....I was really impressed with the rain and water effects...you also managed to convey a much stronger mood(visually) in this one

Damn straight, finaly on a comp I can actually leave a comment on.(damn macs and safari.) Aight fist of holy crap the quality of you pgs kick ass lune. I have a buddy at school who doesn't like anime, who when voting told me that he gave me the nod in creativity and entertainment but if she (you) had finished her entrie she woulda kicked your ass. And I would have to agree with that. Hell when I read that I was up against you in the first round I got really nervous. Everyone I had faced so far, at the time at least, I could hang in there with. This was the first battle were I realized that even if I put out my best work yet you still had the potential to rip me a brand new ass hole. As far as the story in mine goes I hope that it reinforces that I meant what I said. And honestly I was havin trouble commin up with a cool story so I drew on real life. And you betta get yourself motivated cuse I wanna see more from ya.(I mean really, look at the score. You did half a battle and still coulda whooped me one.)
