Skulls and Radji: Pretty solid implementation of both narratives for each team, which was definitely aided by the BB's both teams submitted prior. I don't have a whole helluva lot to say about the meat of the plot, though, because it's very much the serendipity thread that a lot of battles seem to have. If Xia had been launched in a different direction initially, there would have been zero interaction. And though I am interested in where your plot is heading, it felt like almost anything could have happened prior to the last two pages and we would have arrived at the same result. For art, your quality is consistently good, with a few panels here and there feeling a bit sketchy, and the smoothness lended itself particularly well to the action scenes as there wasn't a dip in quality to make up for the increased pace. Kind of a "low detail, high animation" aesthetic, a style I'm particularly fond of. Shen and Petarvee: Full disclosure, I felt like I missed something super vital with understanding this comic. I get that they're in an alternate reality, and it has to do with Xia going into a portal in her closet, but I don't know what that portal is, why it was there, how Kurt, Lily, and Karrin found out, and why it matters other than...time compression, I think. So for what it is, I liked it, as alternate realities can be really clever narratives to follow, but the context was completely lost on me and it hurt the story in the long run. In terms of art, you both brought your A-game in your own ways, but that's really a key point. In your own ways. There was an obvious shift in style when one of you did lines and when the other did, not so much in quality as in style. So though it looks really good in both styles, it was very jarring whenever it switched. Dialogue was nice and punchy, which helped act as a balance for its scarcity. Still, I did really enjoy what you brought: a refreshing break of slapstick weirdness and ending with a good moral.

Whats said has been said! Superb work from all of you! Those color especially. GODDAMN!! Both stories were told professionally and dynamocally, Cracking skulls; Radji having hilarious quotes, and Saint Goddess Shen; Petarvee making our heroes try to cope with a weird parallel universe. I'm not one to like the high school trope, but the angle Shen; Petarvee took had me smiling from start to finish. Skulls; Radji "High five for anarchy" Attention Assholes" & Kurt having "No Chill" are my favorites

Saving my personal best for last =D TEAM UNDERDAWGS- Nothing underdgoggy about you. This comic was rad and y'all came out swinging! From the thumbnails alone, I am positively tickled by your color palate. So warm! So friendly and whimsical as utter devastation ensues. Skulls animation chops are definitely center stage here with the way this battle was inked and rendered, which I personally have a contentious relationship with. While its fabulous for quick output and well as your action scenes, when comic events are toned down, or we're dealing with dialogue page, I feel we really lose the detail you used to have because you're still using that 'quick pass' animation look, which makes your more subdued moments feel like they should be rushed, or happening quickly. I'm not sure if that makes sense, but it just seems to have become a trend in your latest comics and I'm just wondering if it translates to a static medium like comics. Nevertheless, its clear y'all got a big story in mind. Most everyone came into round one with all cylinders blazin'! What is goin' on with Xia? why did she try and shoot her partner? What is going on in that wee potato head? Inquiring minds wanna know! I also super appreciate how you utilized the usual 'fodder' scenes within world. Like Lily's zombies could've just been zombies, but you made them fallen contestants from OCT and I personally love that. Regardless on how this hashes out, you guys submitted one solid comic and are a team to be reckoned with for sure. TEAM LOVE& GOOD VIBES- Ahmahgaw. I heard inklings ,peeped the hype, but nothing could've prepared me for what you guys delivered here. This was HILARIOUS. I am in love with how stylized ALL the characters are (super appreciate theater nerd, Mimi!), not to mention seeing them in an entirely new format. The opening with Somadis and Gigara in school uniforms really set the stage for some serious shenanigans. There were just too many great moments in here for me, from the music room with Angus and Karrin trying to get into detention with a questionable 'suck my dick?', to freakin' thirsty teenager Xia spitting game at Teen Greece. Petarvee's signature creative paneling and Shen's dank color chops combined are already pretty strong, but add in a copious dash of your guys' trademark humor, and this makes for one hefty team. The fact you had me chuckling throughout really tipped the scales for me by way of votes, so regardless of how this hashes out, I hope you guys keep bringing this caliber of comic throughout. G'luck!

Skraji: Hella colours- your shading is the bombbbbb. Really cute style you've mashed together nicely on this one. Xia hitting 'Kaitlyn' before 'Karrin' made me laugh aloud! :D Featherlovers: A million cameos a minute, huh? And what do cameos make? Points. THOUGH I'm going to have to give you Zeros across the board for bad behaviour. JK! ; DDD you guys did amazing! The high school Au you pulled off was a complete joy, and I legit was sad it ended and this isn't just going to be your whole TTT thing. I giggled the whole way through this colourful ride you put together for us, so thanks! Even though your pages hopped about between styles it never felt jarring or distracting- a job very well done! BOTH TEAMS: Seriously congrats on such an amazing set of polished pages all round. You guys must have worked your butts off to get these looking so brilliant. Well done!

hhhh this one is super hard to crit but -rolls up sleeves- SkullsRadji- Skulls, you performed miracles with this comic, and I still love the dynamic between Kurt and Xia. I like how both comics kind of address the whole 'nah they just bros', but like some have mentioned, the ending is kind of... fast. I understand you had to change your script a few times, and that's probably what impacted you most, but i do wanna see where this plotline goes! ShenPetar- The highlight for this was the paneling, I was kinda mystified at the classroom scenes especially. The one downside I have to this comic is that to me, those are the highlight of the comic-- the paneling IS so good and the feel of the fever-dream-y "high school AU" is so potent in those moments, that it detracts from the detention-room scenes which is supposed to be the climax of the story. So I'd measure the intensity of the mood a bit better, next time.

Dat Comeback cameo! (love it) I have no constructive commentary to give. You are all amazing and I would sell my neighbor's first born child to have half the talent yall do. Thanks for the comics!

Skulls and Radji: your comics is fantastic, your characters and environment felt alive from start to finish. The ending felt flat. I'm not big on cliff hangers and you probably could have ended sooner. I don't feel invested in this friendship and honestly I don't recall where it's coming from. I will read your characters archives but I would consider adding in more information somehow to ensure readers know what's going on. Shen and Patervee: The story you told is expertly executed, but it relies so heavily on the cannon of a number of characters that I wonder how many people will be able to follow it. I like that Karen is talking about more than just physical lusty romance, which gives this comic bonus points for me. But I just don't feel like I've seen enough lillyfeather and Karen in the past to justify this conclusions revelation. Regardless I was hooked from start to finish, your lettering is immaculate, yet natural and very easy to read.

TEAM STREETFIGHTER: You can feel the ambition bubbling off this comic, this is a story y'all have wanted to start telling for a while and win or lose I hope you keep telling it! I know many questions are left unanswered intentionally but one thing I feel weakens the story for not knowing is the *why* for Xia's motivation for taking on the popo, and I think exploration of this in the BB you guys did is just as important as your setting up of alternate timelines TEAM LOVE & GOOD VIBES: It was smart to break who was drawing what based on location/scene so that it wasn't too distracting when style changes happened. I feel like this comic is missing its opening act though, like we just came back from a commercial break, and I'm left wanting to know why/how they ended up on this adventure in the first place. The lesson at the end is sweet and I hope you plan on adding more of these to future adventures

Cracking Skulls and Radji: Greecies should be fast food I think. I love how this both had a huge scope and also took place in an apartment, and you're having such fun with your opponents, too. It was so gosh darned cute that I forgot it could get serious. Shen and Petarvee: EVERYONE is in high school! IS THIS THE HELL LILY WILL GET DRAGGED TO? The maracas sticking out of the ground killed me. Wow, not as outwardly dramatic or dark as some of the other comics we've seen in TTT, but it was super charming and full of fun little in jokes.

So much dead Zoey even in an alternative universe there is a dead zoey but maybe the school board should question why Angus has so many bodies in his class? Both of these comics were super well done and a ton of fun! Skulls and Radji I really like how your comic ended with them on bad terms and I hope in future comics that is kept around though it would have been nice to see Karrin take a more active role in the fight but the comedy in it was top notch, excellent timing and delivery and the characters felt really good and in character! this was an amazing comic and a lot of fun. but I dont feel much advancement was made to their characters, when I stop to think about what changed between the Characters the only progression I see was Xia tells Kurt she had a nightmare, which we the audience already knew of so looking at this like an episode not much happened. I feel aspects of your "Proof of concept hype comic" would have been better put into this comic for a more complete fuller storyline in this one. Shen and Peter this was a fun comic and it was great seeing all of the AU characters in their roles was a ton of fun, I also really enjoyed the realistic animal characters that were brought back from the dead... there seems to be a lot of those in retrospect now that I think about it? over all this was fun and I am glad it added to the characters as well it really felt like they moved somewhere as characters and learned something about what they went out to learn from your guys "proof of concept hype comic" which lent itself to this comic over all fun art, fun story, and fun character growth! i will comme,t while muy thoughts are still organized: HAAYYYYY guys that was rad and cool and shits !!! i'll begin with the bad: the action get jammed when we transit from petar to shen. It's not the art that is in cause, but the pacing. Petar's strength is in his pacing, the way the action is well served by the clever use of different panel shapes. Shen's too, to a lesser extend, and here the action get a violent brake effect when we arrives at the scene where Xia is in suspension. the good now: SCHOOL AU ARE MY SHIT it's always so funny to see how different characters will fit in certain roles and here it works perfectly. but again, i kinda lost the vibe with the loss of pacing but HEY then we get to shen's ending scene and it makes me " awww that old cartoon style ending" and it makes me happy and then i eat delicious banana bread with whipped cream i loved your comic guys ^^ bon travail !

I kind of give the vote in favor of Shen/Petar because their had a self contained conclusive ending. Skulls/Radji felt like they took a MCU approach where they end on a cliffhanger to promote the next comic, and I think something more substantial than "Xia kind of injures someone that she just met" needed to happen before you could have earned that cliffhanger ending.

Y'all did fucking great, all a you's. Real crits will come later after I sleep (maybe) but I wanna say, I dig the hell out of the colors across both comics. Top notch motherfuckers AH FUCK IT IT"S COMING NOW I AINT SLEEPING SKULLS AND RADJI: I dig the fuck out of the pastels y'all got going on. The comic is super soft on the eyes because of it, but the splashes of brighter more vibrant colors let things pop super nice in contrast when y'all wanna draw the reader's attention.The pacing is nice, it feels hectic as hell when Xia and Kurt show up, as it should, and I think y'all ahve done something good here. My only issue is how Kurt only seems to register the potential hurt of Lilly when she's the direct target, but seems to disregard her when she's very likely collateral damage while throwing the ship about. It just feels a little disjointed since the two events are coupled back to back with each other. Shen and Petar: HEYO, fucking, AU where characters know is a great fucking idea. It's such a fun spin and really let's y'all play with the environments and characters, and I fucking love the character's attitudes towards it. Y'all give so much, well, character, to everybody. You can really feel their personalities, and there's even a nice Saturday Morning Lesson Learned at the end. Just a nice little self contained idea.

It should be a crime how much I enjoyed both of these! The colors, the lines, everything I'm in love with! Skulls and Radji: All the funny moments had me rolling XD Shen and Pete: High school AUs are my life blood! //MAMMONWITHBRACES

*~Submitted~* In case anyone's dying for those Hot Behind-The-Scenes Deets on how it's made, here's our process: First, Shen and I kicked around some basic premiseseses for this dank-ass fight. Then I wrote a first draft of the whole dealio and tossed it at Shen for edits. A volley of notes were exchanged and a script was born. From there, we just split the script into scenes and took more-or-less equal halves of the comic. We did our own layouts, pencils, and inks and then the swap began. We threw pages at each other and I colored Shen's inks, and she colored mine (save for page 1). And tah-dah! A comic. Fight banter and Macho Man gifs aside; best of luck to my opponents who I suspect brought their A-Game.
