MRPR1993- I kept hanging on, hoping that the skele-gal was going to be explained, and there were pages it felt like we were coming close, but no cigar. That said, this one had me going "Wait, whose thins? Where's he off to? Why? Still the effects you tried and colored pages were uniform and conssitant. I especially dig the intense glowy red effects on page 2. KARMA- JC and the Carnival Master seem like such a 'of course!' match up. Both kinda spooky, both soul collectors- its a match made in hell! :D I can never get enough of your comics, Karma. You seem to have really found your stride with Judgement Call, and while your coloring time got away from you, I think you more than made up for it in some crisp clean inks. I really think your next goal in future battles would be to find a expedient means of coloring to really add that extra oomph to your battle. though honestly, I'm not really opposed to your straight ink work. Filling in all that white space with some fill blacks and clever techniques may also be an interesting route to go

@Fukuro Aw geez, I didn't notice. I went about resizing all of the pages at the same time, but I must have missed that one while saving and just saved it full size after lettering. That's embarrassing, I'll make sure it doesn't happen again. @Pita Yeeeeah, that first page is actually why the rest aren't in full color. I spent /way/ too much time tooling around with it to try and get it as I imagined. But yes, we'll see how demon and reapers making deals can unbalance the afterlife hehe. @Cornbread I get what you mean, but I thought with Carnival Master being a demon, it'd be a good opportunity to show JC is still a rookie at this when it comes to dealing with more dangerous things. He does seem to be getting beat a lot lately though, so I'll have to give him a chance to win more in the future. @PR I'm glad you liked it! Your characters were really fun to play with, and I'm happy about how you used JC in yours too. Good battle~ :>

NEW CHALLENGER APPROACHING MrPr; CM in the first page, last panel, actually creeped me out a bit the first time I read through this comic so props for that. I liked the change in colors during each transition of scenes but I do feel there was a lacking in backgrounds, especially during pages 1 and 4.Its a bit of a nitpick but I'd suggest adding some sort of texture, whatever to indicate its a wall/sidewalk/etc, as for example page 3, panel 4, some cracks or lines could've helped indicate it was a sidewalk JC happened to be sitting on rather than gray space! Also just a question but was Grita's scythe meant to act like a panel border in page 4? Not that its a problem, but that was what I feel the intention was, and a interesting one at that. Nice comic overall! Karma; I was really enjoying the colors for this comic so its a shame you weren't able to finish on time here :c Overall, I feel it was a really nice comic and the little interaction between Zita's soul and JC was pretty cute. ALSO, I'm not sure if you're aware of this but the first page is a giant (2100 x 3150). The other pages were properly resized so I assume it was just a mislook over but I'd just saying doublecheck on page sizes ^^; Overall both of these comics were pretty nice~ Great job, you two

Pitafish: I forgot to mention earlier, but is Grita planning to hunt down Zoey??? Oh no! What's a little chook to do? o v o Find her soul, of course. She's got to be around somewhere... unless the lil' brave chicken fights back that is.

MRPR- Congrats on finishing the entry in full color! Though there seems to be some overlooked things in your entry--pg 2, panel 4: It looks like "To be cancelled!" is being said by the Carnival Master, but the speech bubble's missing his custom treatment (black w/ red accents). This makes the dialog a little confusing and almost led me to believe Judgement Call was saying this. -pg 4, panel 5, wide panel shot: The exchange feels disconnected with how the speech bubbles are arranged. They're just far enough from each other that I read the panel's dialog from top to bottom, not left-to-right as probably expected. This can either be fixed with a rearranging of speech bubbles or the composition itself. Play with it a bit. KARMA: I'm really digging the shading in the first page. It's a shame this wasn't throughout the comic, with only two pages in full color. Though I do wonder if Grita's deal with Carnival Master will bring about consequences for the Underworld. Maybe we'll see in a later story?

I really looked forward to this comic Mr Pr great job on finishing every page. Though I'd recommend setting up an establishing shot, they are not always required, but it really helps the world feel more lived in and alive and gives a good frame of refrence for the action. Karma the comic came out looking amazing, and the world is fun and lively even for being dead, Id like to imaguine this is the same carnaval that he fought click in and JC just has really long days on the job. I think both comics came out amazing personally Id have loved to see Judgement Call be a bit more proactive in the battle or being more competent at his job I felt soo much could have been done with this match up letting Judgement call reap the soul of a character who is legitimately dying on void, so I guess it is intresting both comics went the same direction with the plot for me. You both did an amazing job and congrats on finishing some epic comics.
