Radji - Zita's creepy! I like how she still maintains her eerie factor, but her naivete gives her a charm that makes her likable. The sniper duel was also a cool way to frame the comic. I will say, although the art is still nice, going for black-white-red seems a bit easy, i think more pastels would've accentuated Zita's childish mentality and also contrasted nicely with a dark, gritty sniper duel. G.Lo - For a one weeker, I thought the story of this comic was actually quite ambitious, and I really enjoyed the interactions between Satari and her Captain, and with Zita, who was creepy as all hell in this comic lol. The lack of backgrounds and colors does give the comic a bit of an unfinished vibe though, but with a smaller pagecount you could really get some killer stuff out of Satari.

Its close, not alot happened in radjis but at the same time, glos was a bit unfinished looking. A lot of their movements and poses seemed unatural.

I only really have one thing to comment other than "MAN THAT'S SUPER COOL AND BRUTAL," but I've been told commenting is a good thing to do? Despite my total inexperience? Eh, I'll give it a shot. @G.Lo There's something about the poses on the top panels of pages 2 and 3 that makes them feel really separated from the environment. I think it's just that the hallway looks too white and sterile! It's almost as if they're running across a blank page in my mind. I feel like if they were just casting a much more dramatic shadow across the floor and walls than some vague hatching, they'd much more concretely fit into the scene.

@Radji This is great, Zita is still creepy as hell without killing her opponent herself. the repaired face was brutal. I actually don't think there's anything I WANT to critique in this comic, though perhaps the backgrounds and establishing shots could be more realistic considering the tone? honestly, I'm digging for things to say. @G.Lo I liked the flow, you really said a lot in those last three pages without much dialogue. some of your panels could have been refined but everything reads clearly enough.

Radji: OH. FUCKIN' BRUTAL. I can appreciate the way Zita won! Some of the effects you chose to show how her abilities work were spot on, such as the bottom of page 3. My only real critique is that it's pretty obvious you put a texture over everything. Maybe try layering several on top of each other, or use the same but at different sizes/opacities. Good job! G.Lo: I was admittedly kind of confused through most of your round. While I ADORE your depiction of Zita, the setting was unclear a little unclear outside of us being told it was a ship at the beginning. The sequence where Zita gets shot in the head and gets back up was played out pretty well! My last critique is that at the very end, I was having trouble seeing where Satari was in the frame, even with her friend hovering close to her.

Glo you rocked ! my sweet baby actually creeped me out, hahahaha ! loved how you alternated the real world visions and the eldritch visions, the effect was chillin'

Pffft so I -obviously- put some line work on the wrong layer for page 7. ANYWAY. RADJI. MAH MAN. I love the feel to this and the sparse use of red. Your story was a simple one but you told it very well! I love Zita's creepy effects. Zita was super fun to work with and draw up- her creepy/cute factor is something I really liked! I'ma definitely have to finish my entry and add the couple of pages I had to cut out. Thanks for the awesome battle!
