Mr. Kent: I love how you design your panel layouts and your clean inking style. I think my one complaint is that the backgrounds in a lot of the panels are very sparse, but that was probably partially because of time-issues. I was actually able to figure out what was going on upon my second read-through of this, so once again you've done well enough with the visuals to communicate the general story without text. Gregly: Your comic had my favorite story out of all of these! You did really well integrating all the characters together in a cohesive plot that was laugh-out-loud funny! Some Photoshopping to make the pages cleaner and more starkly black and white would have helped quality-wise. Keep practicing your figure drawing and anatomy. You're characters are already really expressive and you appear to draw them with confidence. I really had fun reading this comic ^_^ Justarhymes: The strip-comic format was a really creative way to pull all these crazy, disparate characters together, and it made for some really unique scars. They were all super funny. Fukur0: I really like your character art. It shows a good grasp on anatomy while still giving a lot of energy and ease to the character acting. There's a couple spots in the more finished pages where I got lost as to what was going on in the story, like when Nikto is in the grass it's not clear that it's Ruuto she sees coming at her. Also, is Dale's scar supposed to be that he is now a living strawberry pie? 'cause that is hilarious.

Mister Kent: You're lucky that the visuals layout and pacing are as strong as they are with this that one is still able to sorta figure out what's going on even without dialogue (did you run out of time to implement them again? If so, remember my notes on how to make sure you don't run out of time for lettering!) Gregly: This was fun to read and lots of creative scars! I docked points for quality since it's all pencil without polish, but this is by far one of the easiest to read of the whole bunch, so bravo on that front~ Justarhymes: lolol these are too funny man fukur0: Man I liked where this was going but then by the end I kinda have no idea what's happening :| You've done good work before, I imagine just having to juggle so many characters threw you off guard harder than expected. Better luck next time! Keep it up folks~

One thing I think would be super helpful, and I'll post this on all of the Scarmageddon battles, would be to possibly open a forum post with a scar reference page of all the scars made to your opponents. With the massive amount of characters in each comic it can get kinda murky on who did what to whom. I do want to congratulate everyone for working so hard to incorporate so many fastincating characters into their works something I can only dream of doing. Regardless of the results thank you to everyone who attempt and participated in a fantastic multi-match smack down!

@MisterKent Overall, not bad! I don't know if the lack of dialogue was a lack of time or a conscious decision, but it definitely made me focus more on each panel and read it more closely. And if that was intentional, bravo, that's a neat fukken trick. Though the speed at which things wrap up make me feel like there's a few pages missing, which seems to be the flavor of the day, so I won't fault ya for that. I genuinely dig the way you use B&W and your linework, because you always keep it super-duper readable and don't overdo it. I feel like the closing crit would be just to budget your time better if this is indeed unfinished; or to maybe add some light exposition if it's done. @Gregly I absolutely love your story. Period. It meshes everyones personalities so well and lets them really play off each other; plus everything seems organic and each gag just falls beautifully into place without needing any real setup. So rock on on that front. When it comes to the art: It's by no means bad. You're demonstrating a decent grasp of the core cartooning principles and totally know how to pace your story out very nicely. Overall, my big wish for you is to pick up some Real Nice Art Supplies if you're sticking traditional, or an okay-ish drawing tablet to dip your toe into the world of digital art. @justarhymes Oh my god. Just. Oh my god. I can't even really crit this. You really hit the nail on the head with what you were going for. And your scars made me audibly whisper "Oh my god" every single page. Just. Keep on. Doing what you're doing. Because I love it. Holy fuck I love it. @Fu Nice use of dragonboi butt :okhands: I feel like the big crit here is just the unfinished-ness. Cause it seems you really worked to set everyone up to scar each other, and then it just sorta fell apart when it was balls-to-the-wall-time. When your stuff's finished, it's tight and everything looks nice and clear; when it looks like the deadlines creepin up, things get a bit wonky. I feel like the best advice would be to work on your speed a bit more, doing timed sketches and pages might really help set your pace. Alternatively: Upping your draftsmanship so that only the important shit is in each panel is also a time-saver.

Some closing comments (gonna leave it short and sweet): -This was a really quirky cast to play with. I had a lot of fun trying to write everything out for this comic, which I hope shows lol -Everyone's comic was amazing, especially Gregly. I know you gave Ruuto the eye scar as the scar but I'm keeping the Bunip. -Sad that Astro and Bobo couldn't post their's up :( I was excited to see with y'all came up with, I bet they were pretty good. -My only regret is not finishing everything in time. I'll accept defeat and make sure to do better next time. ALSO SINCE I DIDNT DRAW A POST COMIC SCAR PAGE AND THE SCARS MAY BE UNCLEAR, HERES WHAT HAPPENED: -Dipuc: Face claw'd and wings torn off -JPOP: Face burned off (covered in gauze) -Princess Nikto: Left eye blown out, Right eye impaired -Dale: Became a pie -Ex nihilo: Trapped in a jar

No excuse here. Tablet broke and I just didn't sit down with enough time to work traditionally without it. Sorry, but Dale will not prevail.

Sorry everybody. I thought I had another day to submit. But what I had was mostly just sketches and a plot that maybe you could have followed, so maybe it's better to default than to waste everyone's time with an unfinished comic. I'll keep all my excuses to myself and just say that I don't plan on using ex nihilo any more because I don't enjoy drawing gore and violence and just want to draw fun and cute things. So I'll do better next time. :)
