@InkSword: OMG I loved this story. So silly and charming even though one of the characters is kind of a crazed killer or whatever. I think your work would look better with a comic font rather than your handwriting, though, because it's a little hard to read compared to the art of the comic. Other than that, just keep up everything you're doing and just work on improving and adding more detail to your backgrounds as needed (they were pretty good already, so huge props for that)! @Zinbi: Aw, man, those first two pages looked so good, and then it looks like you just ran out of time and couldn't finish the comic! I hope you get a finished comic in next time, but either way I can say this: you've left me wanting more from you for sure!

@Inksword - "Now I am... a hideous beast!" "Look, ma! A pretty swan!" omg off to a great start with that one! This comic was so funny! Sere's transformation sequence was really visually interesting, even if it only lasted a panel! But my favourite page has to be the last one, Sere looks so happy with herself after stabbing the poor cyclist! Great job portraying your opponent too! Can't wait to see more of this crazy contortionist lady! @Zinbi - A comic without words? Coolio! It feels so mysterious and surreal, specially at the part where the mask jumps at the Kay's face! Also I personally like the open ending, tho in my opinion, I think it is TOO open, as in "I dunno if this is all or I am missing pages". Like it needs some kind of cue, some kind of, dunno, maybe a "fade to black" to show the readers that yeah, this is over and you might never know what she looks like (till the next episode)? Anyway, good work! (Also great use of perspective on panel 1 page 2)

aah nice first comics!! ink, yours was pretty funny. a finished comic from you would be great. zinbi, glad to see a comic from you! your first couple pages were real nice, so I'd love to see a finished one from you too. yours was creepy, and I agree with the other crits of maybe needing a bit more clarity.

both of you definitely did awesome, but I don't think I can critique on anything beyond what has already been said. @inksword love the montage on page four, really well done. @zinbi a wordless comic, and it was executed so well!

Inksword, thanks for the battle, I wish we could have both finished, haha! Next time! I liked your dark humor, it fit very well for both our characters. Kozispoon, I really like Fearn's comics! I was not completely sure how to end my comic, and looking back, I think you're right that it needs a bit more closure.

I felt a little shy posting my own comment right after another one of my comments but now there's no problem! I really love your take on the transformation! It was kinda creepy in a great way, seeing the human head on that spindly swan neck! I definitely wouldn't have the guts to come out and do an single sequence like this for a comic. INKSWORD- I'm not gonna lie, I didn't expect much in regards to this comic. Many folks who are stacked up against perceptibly 'mundane' characters tend to get tripped up and not know what to do with them. After reading your side I couldn't be more wrong. This comic was hilarious! I'm only sorry it wasn't fully completed. Not only was I cackling over how you portrayed Kay the swan, I got such a kick over how your character dealt with it all in true Saturday morning cartoon style. For someone whose just trying out humor in comics, it definitely seems like you got the knack for it. That bicycle gag had me in stitches. ZINBI- I dug that you went for more of an artistic angle with your battle- which, if this is your forte, definitely give Fearn's comics a look. You build up to this ominous hint with the feathers growing and the hand morphing (Was anyone else getting Black swan movie vibes?), but there doesn't seem to be any payoff. Pages uploaded! This week turned out to be a pretty rough week irl for time-commitments and I had another OCT round on deviantart start this week as well, so I had less time than I anticipated. I still definitely could've budgeted my time better, but I have all the pages up though they are varying levels of finish. Wip wop. I had a lot of fun thinking of ways for these to to interact! Even though I'm hyped to do a kick-ass fight comic at some point, I actually surprised myself and tried for comedy. Emphasis on try. HERE GOES NOTHING!
