Thank you everyone so much for the critiques and comments, I will be keeping it all in mind for future submissions. @Mrmonkeyloop458 it was a lot fun to be able to draw Tucker and make this comic. I'll be looking forward to seeing more of Tucker and your comics!!

Mrmonkeyloop458: Not a bad first effort! I really hope nothing gets in the way of your next comic, because I'd really like to see what kind of stories you wind up telling. If you keep at it with the same enthusiasm you have now, you're going to get real good, real fast. (Just don't skip out on the study and the practice!) zee: You clearly know what you're doing, haha! There's not really anything I'd change with this one. Maybe try finding a print guide (the kind that shows the live area and the bleed, etc.) to make sure everything important is good and in the center. That's all I got.

@Mrmonkeyloop458 - Tucker is adorable! I agree with Julz, a better font wouldn't hurt! @zee - omg please never leave your comic was amazing the colors were great and the writing was great!

Loop: short n sweet great first entry. I would advise finding a more lighthearted, or fitting font to use for your comics. What you are using currently is very jarring and illsuited. Keep up the good would and i look forward to seeing you grow here! Zee: your pages are wonderfully rendered. Your writing is delightful. You did an extraordinary job and you know it, please stay forever.

MrMonkeylook458 - Bummer to hear you got sick. Sometimes life just gets in the way of comics. T_T Watch your panel borders next time around, and we'll what you can do next time! Zee - That was Awesome~ excellent sense of space and the silhouettes worked wonderfully. Only crit I can think of is the word bubbles were a bit too close to the edges of panel orders, and it flattened some depth that could have been contained within a panel. but that's a minor nitpick.

@Mrmonkeyloop458: OMG there is something incredibly charming about your style, and I would LOVE to see more! It's too bad you weren't feeling well enough to finish your comic. When you do your next comic, try spending a little more time making your lines look cleaner and adding more detail to the backgrounds. I think you could probably get some ideas from Justin (http://entervoid.com/index.php?action=profile;u=217), who has a very cartoony, zany style (at least in his more recent work), which looks like it's kind of what you're going for. This comic is his most recent: http://entervoid.com/index.php?action=comic;id=5387 @zee: Man, you have such a cool style! I love the color scheme you used. Very Halloween-y and spoopy! I feel like hiding the enemies in shadow was kind of a cop-out, but it also makes them feel a little more threatening, so I guess it's just a stylistic choice. Either way, I'd like to see a little more detail in your future comics. Looking forward to more from both of you!

Congrats to the two of you for not only making it to the invitational, but getting a bonafied comic under your belt for all to see! MRMONKEYLOOP458- This was a cute comic. Definitely more on the dialogue side than action. Speaking of dialogue, might I suggest referring to the void forums resource to find some really nice fonts to choose from. What you have right now sticks out like a sore thumb and doesn’t really jive with your art. Though, if you’re up to it and have a steady hand, try writing your own dialogue. It seems like you want to fire off story wise with how you opened your round 1 comic, which I am a big fan of. If you move forward, I’ll definitely be interested in seeing what adventures your little guy gets into! ZEE- A stellar performance all around. Your colors, visuals and paneling were a real treat. I know I’m not the only one whose thrilled to have your comics as part of the void crazytrain. I especially dig your font and dialogue placement. You had me fooled with your WIP shared in the discord chat-ya got me! You definitely used your side to showcase your opponent which is great, but I’m finding myself much more drawn to Tucker than our grumbly alien bro. It’s a tough balance trying to give characters the proper spotlight, so if you move forward, that’s definitely something to keep in mind.

@MrMonkey; It's too bad you weren't able to get more done I would love to see one of your comics in the future! Unfortunately I don't have a ton of critique for you besides some of what the previous commenters said about your text. @Zee; You managed to get a really complete looking comic done and the grungy fog backgrounds you have going on work phenomenally well. It did feel like your comic had an abrupt end as it was even just a little to be continued would have helped you out I think.

@KarmaLarma Yeah! I hope in future comics to include more characters from Void in the background to make it more interesting, and hopefully better designed npcs like you said. Thank you so much!! @Inksword Thank you! I definitely see what you mean by that, I'll try to come up with better conclusions in the future. @Mrmonkeyloop458 The time crunch was kind of rough so I understand, what you did get done is very cute and fun though. Tucker was super fun to draw by the way! I hope I portrayed his personality well enough ha ha

sorry that i didn't did more comic pages, I was sick all last week... @Zee: Oh Wow, I really like your drawing style! :D And those are some really nice comic pages that you did there! @Inksword @KarrmaLarma thank you for the feed back its really really helpful! I'll try to keep those in mind when doing comic pages for something else in the future! :)

@MrMonkey: I'd like to see a finished comic sometime! It looks like it was heading in a fun direction. One thing is, I think your text is way too big. You could bring the font size down a couple notches and then it wouldn't cover nearly so much of your artwork! @Zee: Wowee zowie those are some pretty pages! I have no real complaints except for the fact that it just sort of... ends. It seems like maybe you had one more page planned? You could always just slap a "to be continued" thing on there next time too if you plan to pick it up next entry!

It might not feel like a big deal, but it can really detract from your stuff. Zee: I already love Grey and I've only seen a little bit of what he does, haha. The humor and visuals in this were great, and I think my favorite part of how you laid this out was the lighting. It really gave it a cool atmosphere of them out in the city at night. I like the way you did your baddies for this in the silhouette style, but I hope you'll give your NPCs a little more love on comics where you have a longer deadline since I know you come up with really cool designs. Keep it up!

Tucker is adorable! I hope I'm able to portray him in a way that's true to his character. Best of luck, I can't wait to see how this turns out!
