RADJI- This started off under grim circumstances, so by the time I got to the end, it was surprising to find such a sweet little tale by the last page. Seems scary spider Mom does have a heart after all-that is, if you do right by her kidlets. ;D Gads, I can only imagine the levels of hurt poor Nyasuu would've incurred had she squashed that spider!
JULZ- HILARIOUS. If there's one thing that can be counted on in your comics, its that they'll be funny and that no one is exempt. Not even your own character! I nearly spat out my drink when I spotted Nyasuu looking like a hottie messily scarfing down funnel cake. Unworthy of such a specimen indeed! This was such a fun romp, I really have no complaints. Its always great to just see a well rounded mini adventure submitted to the site for us to enjoy. Kudos!
julz: that spiderbaby right, she shoulda touched the booty XD this comic was fucking hilarious, i loved the gestures and expression, and fun bright colours!your take on Louise is basically my favorite lol i know you only had 3 pages but i dont think i get why Louise won the balloon game then gave up right away and left with her adorable David plushie. ps thank you for basically the best cameo ever XD
radji: oh-ho i am curious if you have more ideas for this plot thread, it would be a shame to drop it after such an intriguing start. somehow i feel like theres more coulda been done with 'show dont tell" since its sort of a lot of text... I know Lousie speaks a bit flowery but with smaller panels this story prolly could been done in 2 pages just as well.
@Radji: I see you put some more effort into backgrounds this time around, so bravo for that! I wish there had been time for more of this story, because it seems like it's going in a really cool direction. I love how Louise is kind to Nyasuu to repay her kindness, but still can't pass up the opportunity to pursue her own interests... Overall, the comic was a little shorter than I would have liked, but you hooked me anyway :D
@Julz: I have to say that of all of your talents, I think your creativity in coming up with original ideas and settings for your comics stands out so hard. Your comedy is also glorious, but it's enhanced so much by the crazy settings and situations you put Nyasuu and other characters in. My only real nitpick about your comic is that the smooth text kind of clashes with the rough brushes you used for your linework. It fits a little better this round than last round somehow, but I think it could still use a little tweaking. That said, I have a feeling the time limit has a lot to do with why you went with that kind of text rather than hand lettering or something like that. In other news, just how many characters now are thirsty for Miller's bod? I feel like his comics just need to be a harem manga now...
Radji: Despite it being 3 pages long, your story was the perfect mix between touching and intriguing! I wonder what Louise has in stock for Nyasuu now!
Julz: The colors are beautiful! And the lineart looks really polished! I laughed so much at your comic, specially at when Louise sees Miller!
Overall, great work both of you! I cannot decide which one is better, I loved both!
Julz....Julz.... i f i could vote, i would vote against myself.
