Last and late minute critique!
I dunno why that wonky tree appeals to me, but it do. Its always great to not only tie in the environment design of someone else comic to make it feel like you're in the same world, but having signature 'pieces' like that tree really add to the scenes character. I know you only had a week to work on this, but its a shame that in all your efforts of quality in the foreground elements, you can see the time constraints ding your quality the further into the background you go.
I think a good number of us were waiting for this inevitable moment between these two besties. Again, I know you were pressed for time, but I would've loved to have seen the stakes raised here. A looming pause as she draws her weapon back, a close up of Satin's face to see a panel to panel turmoil of emotions cross her face. This is such a pivotal spot in the narrative that I feel it went by too fast.
So what does this mean, for Satin? Especially with Lilyfeathers influence withstanding. Are her views on love evolving? Does this hesitation mean she doesn't love Lily? GASP, are they breaking up? I'll be curious to see where this goes
Kura: Your Satin stories have always been your best written comics. This is well paced and is a powerful and rewarding new evolution for Satin to undergo. Can't wait to see how this plays out in the future.
Also WHO THE HELL IS MAKING ALL THIS MERCHANDISE D8
oh my GOD I'm gonna cry all over everything and its a big mess this was so beautiful, I love it, i LOVE your inks- I think your Satin comics are some of your strongest visually because of how much black you use and the expressions you get out of them- I love the emotions, I LOVE THEIR FRIENDSHIP AAAA THIS WAS BEAUTIFUL
