Love both of these comics! @le Fred: Your story was really lovely, it was compelling and emotional while being gross and silly at the same time. The art style really works and the ending was quite a treat. A very successful comic! @lanternlovers: Your art is really beautiful and I love your color palette. I also like the dynamic you have going with the characters! Well done!

Oh my god, they're up, I love them both already XD @le Fred, your style for this comic is so sweet and appealing! I started out thinking 'wow, Alex seems like... not a little shit thus far', but then ha, you nailed him right at the end, perfect. And oh my god, I can't get over that demon. Looks like Void City is in for a deluge of small vulgar demons, fantastic. I love Good Wife already, she's a real sweetheart; kinda wish that we could have seen Bad Wife as well in this comic, though. Admittedly I have no idea how paired characters really work, and I know it'll be hard fitting both into every comic, but since they're both brand new it would have been fun to see some more hints of how to characterize them both for the future. Very fun comic though, it was great! @lanternlovers, dragonfly you already know a lot of what I think about the comic, but I just wanted to say that it's a real treat getting to see you finish up a longer sequence like this. I know you've been wanting to do it--and nervous about doing it--forever, and so I think big congratulations are in order on getting it done at last! I know how hard you've been working for the whole timeframe of this battle, and big congratulations for that and taking your big first step into battles! Your figures are usually pretty spot-on, so I think that your biggest thing to work on will probably be the backgrounds (and yeah, you can totally punch me in the face for this because we both scream about them, haha). You have such a ridiculous, beautiful amount of detail for some of those panels--especially the crowds, where I know that you can zoom in and see huge detail--that the less defined ones feel kind of bare in contrast. For the gradients especially, I think; even if you just hand-roughed the gradients in or something, they'd feel a little less artificial. Just because you have such a detailed, rich drawing style, having nothing but the gradient feels a little bit empty. As a whole though, goddamn man. I love it, I love all the thought you put into it, and I love that cat to death. Can't wait for more of Alex and Bailey both!

@Le Fred: I absolutely adore your comic so much. You write and pace it incredibly well and made the stress of highschool graduation important. The bantering between Jay and Alex made me laugh, especially at the demon part. I absolutely adore this 1000%

thank you Le Fred for challenging me to a match. It was hard to think of something between the four characters, and making sure their characterizations were right! I struggle with stiffness, so let me know if things seem out of place. I hope to improve with storytelling! @Kozispoon: I tried to apply your critique in this match, however I am unsure if I was successful! I hope that some of Alex’s abilities have been more clearly defined. I do not know how far off I missed the mark. I would like to know how I can improve on this, as I realize it is a big obstacle I face in sequential art. Show don’t tell! Haha. Also shout out to Stormcrow, Shen, Thren, and Syraxis for being helpful and encouraging this tiny bug. Your advice on how to create comics from start to finish was insightful. My biggest worry was defaulting since I tend to give up a lot. But i didn’t so woot? Idk lol
