There's not a lot I can honestly critique in this comic because it was either pointed out already or they are aspects I myself need to work out. Suffice to say it's really REALLY great to see Arena back in action and how it more or less ties the pre-meteor Void to the post-meteor Void. So while I can't say much about the comic itself (since it's really just an epic fight to end all epic fights), I can say that it's made me eager to see what Arena will be bringing now that she's filled the void of the VCPD, which is a group I wanted to see come back for a while. It's great to see how far Arena's come and how exactly she'll fit into the current Void landscape and I look forward to see what happens next.

Arena is older on this site than I am and since I came around shes had like maybe two comics so I have a hard time truly appreciating the magnitude of this story compared to people who understand the character better than I do, but despite this i still think its hella hype that you were finally able to bring her arc to a close so you can do new things with her and bring her into the new era of Void. While a lot of the story elements may be lost on me- I have read her comics but without being there and reading them and the other comics of the time as they came out they lose some impact- what i can DEFINITELY appreciate is the amount of work you put into this. The art in this is phenomenal- I love the heavy high contrast black and white and the heavy shadows, although in the action sequence your BGs sort of dissolve into speedlines (which are useful but i believe can be overdone). if nothing else perhaps occasionally switch it up and have white speedlines on a black BG or something. But the force displayed in the character's action and their intense expressions are perfect. I love the punching straight through Bako's face on page 19. lol rad. Then it switches to colour as if to symbolize you and the character's shift into the present and i love how you're using colours more to amplify the mood of the scene- your colours in previous comics could sometimes seem a bit muted but you seem to be getting the hang of using them as a tool to evoke an emotional response. ...seeing them side by side, I think your lineart still has stronger expressions, but Im sure you'll get there. In any case, this was an age in the making and it came out fantastic! Glad to see Arena back in the fray!

OH MY GOSH PYRASSSS! That cityscape looks amazing!! Regi showing up at the end gave me feels ;-; The comic looked great b&w but then the colors happened and it became even cooler. Pages 10-13 were a cool idea and I'm glad it had a nice impact as-is and it didn't need to be a gif or anything. It was nice to see some of these faces and that page count is no small task. Good job!! :D
