ANIMESHEN- 5EVA!! Haha, thank you so much for your comment, Shen! Glad to see I'm not the only C.P fan and positively tickled to hear that sweet and sad came across. Aww, I miss Clown Princess already. I know collabs of this sort run the risk of pulling the reader out when they turn the page and another artist takes the helm, so I'm glad to hear our efforts eased the transition.
BOBO- So glad to hear! I've been wanting to battle Fish in some form or fashion, and when Clown Princess came along I nearly flipped for joy- BUT THEN SHE DIED @_@ Thank goodness for month of the dead letting me realize my dream!!
SEANDUDE666- You're welcome! Considering I was battling a dead princess, I thought it'd be a clever nod to the Princess tournament to have as many as I could fit mucking about in their undead glory during Halloween. It also spices up what would otherwise be a rather boring panel showing a photoboth, haha- glad you like!
COLDSHOULDERAVE- I'm so glad you dug it! Auddie was the perfect victim, haha! I know we've lobbed about the battling each other idea and after tinkering with Auddie in this Halloween collab I'm even more amped to think up a good comic to come at you with. Keep me on your dancecard!

WEI- I think, for me what you said really made my day: that this comic was fun. VOID is chock full of beat 'em up battles and serious storylines (which I love, don't get me wrong), so to know that a silly Halloween adventure holds up among all that and shines through as fun is groovy. You also have a sharp eyes- I was trying to nudge my inks to coincide with my collab partner and perhaps tat was to my detriment. Line widths are definitely a problem on my end, especially now that my inking is being done digitally. I worry things look too fat, so I pull back too much and just leave everything looking meh. Still, practice makes perfect!
I know most folk (me included sometimes!) think you're a grump who only emerges to put voiders through the wringer when you comment, but I think you do it because you have a real passion for this site and the people who're here. You wanna challenge us-nay, dare us to do better and ensure we don't stagnate and I really appreciate that. Your joke about cancelling M.o.t.D put such a fire under my ass working on my pages that it made this super fun!
PUZZLETHING- I saw you going on a commenting spree earlier this week and found myself going 'ooh, I hope he comment on my junk!' I totally agree with the line color thing. I personally don't like working with heavy blacks and intended to colorize Fish's lines when I was editing all the pages, but her layers were flattened. Granted, I could've simply edited it my lines to make them black and fit, but I took a risk and let it be.
Your work has become something of a newly discovered joy for me, so hearing you dug our work and enjoyed it besides really makes my day. <33 I was a little worried their adventure may of dragged on in moments, so its good to hear it was magical, yeah! and haha yeah, Fish and I discovered a shared passion for cameos and I went a little crazy. It was Halloween though, and I wanted to stuff as many dead characters as I could in there!
Thanks a bunch for the comments and votes you guys! I'll be replying to comments in my next post, but first: :D This was, a least to me a FABULOUS experience where collabs are concerned and a sweet holiday tale to boot.
For those curious...
I approached Fish with an idea (which turned out to be the ending) and she fashioned a script around it. We split the work page-wise and despite the crazy timezone difference, managed to keep lines of communication open via tumblr and skype while working on this. Fish executed the neat minimal color palate and I shaded/lettered all the pages and got them relatively uniform in their layout. I'm still boggled at the wealth of work Fish managed to churn out in one week. Not to mention her tolerance for my critique when she came at me with mock up pages and thumbnails I felt could use more punch. She even found the time to keep drawing these characters during classes which resulted in the doodle page!
Fish, this was so much fun and I LOVE Clown Princess' instant chemistry with Mimi. A big thank you to VOID as well for thinking up something as spooky as Month of the Dead in order to make this happen. Hope everyone had a happy Halloween!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH THIS WAS COMPLETELY AMAZING. Seriously like the only critical thing I can say is that I wish Atomic had colourized her lines too, since the change was a little jarring.
Besides that one thing is was the besty best bestest ever. Both of you have such lovely, charming artstyles. Every panel is just strait up enjoyable, both your drawings always make me smile. And the story was so perfect and well paced. I love how much time was spent on the night they had together, all the different stuff they got up too. It really made it feel like a long and magical time. And everything they did! This is like Cameo: The Comic, it seems like evvveerrryyybody is getting referenced here!

this is really really quite good for just one week so kudos and cookies to you both for that right away...the majority of voters seem to have taken the short deadline vs. your results highly into your favor
completely realized story which has obviously impacted your admittedly mushy (headed?) hearted audience and overall it was a FUN comic(this is important) to read and that seems to have also impacted your votes greatly...
...but the art work was TOO rushed overall and REALLY fell apart in the last few pages....it just didn't have the impact it needed.....i would have loved to see this with another week at your disposal and would have no doubt voted much higher had the artwork been more developed....both in planning and in execution...however I seem to be in the exreme minority here
....kozi...were you intentionally thinning out your lines to fit with fish?....fish...I really want to see more from you and I REALLY want it to be somthing you actually take the time to work on.

Okay my family must think I am insane. I squeeked with joy so many times reading this comic. Thank you guys so much for putting Auddie in the comic, I'm going to go hug my cat to death with happiness. Such a lovely, cute comic. And soo touching in the end. I bow down to your awesomeness.
I love you guys, and I loved this comic. The colors were beautiful, the characters lovable, and your styles meshed together way better than I expected! I hope you team up again some time! :)
AHHHHHH this was everything I could have wanted and more!! It was so sad and fun and beautiful! the crossroads where you did the page split wasn't as jarring as I would have thought, theres a style difference yeah but you managed to keep the colours matched so it flowed really well! ahhh I miss Clown Princess, I want her and Mimi to hang out and be bestest friends 5eva! also thanks for the Gray cameo haha! great job you guys, this was fantastic!

On the serious side, I relish what you two have created with much gusto. Witty, charming and bittersweet. Such good stories leave me hankering for more. Kozi and Fish, I salute you both!
