kura: Page 13--nice reference XD Back to point, I think it's called pressure sensitivity; in Manga Studio it's called Stroke-In, Stroke-Out, and it might have something to do with the 'correction' ratio too. The lines are nice, but the edges of the lines keep pointing in on both directions. I don't know how to explain it in words, but check the numbers before you draw huge ass lines. Sometimes it's good to have a higher number for stroke-in/stroke-out, and it's usually a wise idea to turn off stroke-in if you're doing speedlines that fall from the edge of the page/panel down to the middle of the page. Also, as a tip, when you're doing areas that have hatching next to a giant black area, just fill in the chunks of black before you start drawing thin lines. Saves a lot of effort and time. Jiisuri: Wish you finished it. The pink seems somewhat clean enough to actually adjust everything to black color on Photoshop to make it consistent with the actual black lineart (my guess). Watch out when you draw the heads--some of them seem a little lopsided with the hair+face. Also, you might be interested in getting a brush pen (or bottle of ink and paintbrush). I can really see your work looking much bolder and cleaner with solid black shapes instead of you hatching little by little with black on the shadows. both of you: Even the few seconds of having to hatch lines over and over builds up in time. Reduce the time by finding a way to 'black out' everything efficiently, either by a 'fill tool', black ink, or just try using a thicker pen.

Majikura - The true might of Winchester is basically duct taping a whole bunch of guns together ahahahahaha so good. I don't really like the texture brushes you're using here. It doesn't feel like you're being super careful with them when you make your shadow forms, which weakens the form overall. However, it might just be because I don't really like how those brushes look, like ever. I think I'd really like you see you put more time into illustrating texture/effects rather using brush solutions for them. Like the title card page has very few exotic brush effects, and a whole lot of beautifully rendered stuff. I think it's way more charming, that page is lovely. You obviously had to rush like crazy, so I don't feel super confident critiquing much else. I do think this is totally a way better paced fight. I feel like we definitely had enough time to take in the situation, and feel the solution come about naturally. Jiisuri - Duuuude, your lines are so much more swift, confident, and flowing in your pencils than in your inks. You need draw with that same looseness and bravado when your doing your final lines, cause you're still having trouble with line quality. I dunno if your sketchy pages just have the characters alone cause at that point you just wanted to get everything down, but you should sketch the backgrounds in before or as you're working on the characters. It makes it way easier to set peeps down in the world, and makes it way less likely that you end up with big open white voids behind your dudes. I think you're doing a great job pushing your action and poses. Your set up for the action on page 7 with those overhead shots and interesting angles was so nice, I was really into that.

Being a rabid fan of -kaiju -Shadow of the Colossus -Attack on Titan -westerns I automatically love both these comics by default. It's hard to critique them because they're not up to your standards but I'll add some words: Kura: This one's a bit of an improvement over the Pixel match, and I like how this helps further set up the Princess War that is part of Triggerina's universe. I'm not gonna bust your chops on the horses because EVERYONE knows how frustratingly difficult horses are to draw. I'm not sure how I feel about the textures, there are some pages where they work and then others where they could have used more polish. But again it's hard to critique when you had to rush this. Jiisuri: Even with Shadow of the Colossus as my favorite game, I feel that you're starting to get dangerously close out of homage and into straight up derivative, with the shadow creatures and ruins that are extremely reminiscent of the elements from the game. This one is less complete than Kura's so it's also tough to crit properly. But good on ya both for doing this highly anticipated battle to begin with~

great job guys! I like seeing this princess saga continue! Not anybody's BEST work, sure, but stuff comes up, thats understandable.
