My internet has been the lol lately, barely let me vote - just wanted to drop a few lines late on ADAM: Oh man, that was beautiful. If your previous comic has been somewhat similar, this one blew my mind - you show you master a variety of styles, the is really strong - and the end.. oh so heartbreaking.. Puzzle: Your comics have been just exellent thorought the tournament, how you manage to deliver such plentiful pages of great artwork consistantly within the space of a week will always be beyond me. I don't know what to say but give you two thumbs up - I should really read more of your stuff on this site ^^ .. aslo I'm totally sad pigeon princess died :(

Awww maaaaaaaaaan. I'm totally bummed ;_; . Great work Adam, you buried me. Your artwork is so lovely and strong, I don't know how I thought I could win. Thanks everyone who read my comics! Just knowing people are seeing my awful stuff feels wonderful. @Red - Hahaha thanks, but they're not really my colours. I just take the colours from my opponents character, tweak them a little bit, and use that as the colour scheme. It's a lot of fun, and it definitely helps me work with colours I might not normally use. @alberto - Ah thank you! I'm happy you enjoyed it, since I know you're more of an action dude, and my stuff is preeeeetty boring. @Monday - Thanks bro! I actually had a lot of fun researching stuff for this comic. Maybe some of it's too obscure for anyone to ever really notice, but it's always fun hiding stuff away. Yeah I totally get you about Goblin Princess's characterization. I felt like I ended up in a similar situation as the Dino Princess Round, where I had to figure out a way to have a friendly conversation with an inhuman monster. I usually just try to figure out some overarching idea to their character that fits in with their design, but I'm not sure how well it reads here. @Underwood - Thank you so much Underwood! I hope you don't mind that I combined the Somme Offensive and the Battle of Argonne Forest into like one weird thing, but I really wanted to get Forsythe in there! A reference to a comic far more amazing than anything I've made. I haven't commented on your other comic yet, but I totally will soon, I was just avoiding it while I fretted. Puzzle: Holy crap that was a tight squeeze. You did a hell of an awesome job! Through out this whole tourney you have been kicking ass and taking names! I have enjoyed seeing your art every round and was impressed with your writing and very real feel of your world. I told you I'd be refreshing all week and I did. I also had to retread your story all week and there is just a lot of little things you seem to have a good back for. Like the baby playing while they talked, or while they are talking about breakfast the vere off to talking about the baby having fun and you refer to it as her "enjoying a serving right now". Little connections through out your piece made it a good read multiple times. That's a very hard thing to do and I congratulate you for pulling it off! Thanks for a great round! Monday: I totally see where this one might get stuck in your craw for a bit! And I thank you for your comments. I was glad I was able to kind of be on the outside looking in on this round. I really loved both of these comics guys!

As most the things that were running around my noggin' was was already extrapolated by my fellow peers, I shall just be succinct in my review: Damn bally good show from you two. Highly entertaining outputs from you fine stout comic fellows. For this round, I had to re-read your wonderfully spun tales over and over again. That is how much I enjoyed what you two did. Jolly good pukka work you two. I salute you.

Oh holy shit - So like These two entries ? They burn like a hot fucking knife. Slowly but surely making their way through a thick stick of butter. Let me expound. Both entries are subtle but have attempted very unique avenues of approach both inherent to the artist themselves while at the same time creating this discord that strikes you in the heart. Dude ok so puzzle. I had to read yours first because your opponnent was doing a mirror match dealie and i figured, ok give you the first go to set the scene. And you did. Your research into this world is far and above competent like you were familiar with this setting. Once I got through the dense fluff of your world thats when your style really started to bleed in. And thats when I realized that you kill your opponnents by being friends with them and that is terrifyingly effective because you could simply write them off to war attrition while your character develops through a bloodless tactic. BUT you did some things. And I have this fucking grin on my face cause I saw what you did there, you re-concepted your opponnent. In this world she's the leader of what is essentially a "goblin" unit. A friendly commander and you did this by making her goblin signature into her kid. A relatable narrative and it added a depth to an otherwise malevolent and senseless character. But I had to squint really hard to buy that. And when I finally figured out who your opponnent was I was like OH SHIT THAT WAS HER ? Because what Adam did was fucking terrifying. Adam you researched your opponnent , you figured out what made them tick - and you seemingly devoured her whole. Not only did you manage to hijack Pigeon's canon but you made it terrifyingly convincing. You even copied puzzle's art style. But what can I say, before this battle it seemed that a gibbering pile of ravenous mouths had just been going around and eating all my favorite characters ! Really ! All of them ! The only thing that's making me completely hesitant for voting for you at this point in time is the fact that pigeon princess really DID build up to being a well written character. BUT YOU KNEW THIS and HOLY SHIT THE ENDING GOT ME GRINNING LIKE A FIEND. SO WHAT DO I DO MAN ? I I CAN'T DECIDE !!

Red: yeah very good point I had those two pages stubbed in and just left them but very good point I should have quickly just redrawn it :) Puzzlething: Are you kidding me lol. That was awesome! I loved it great work! Seamless conversations and a very pretty batch of art. What's not to love? You didn't go with my stick figure hopes and dreams but that is my only negative :) , I am sure i'll be refreshing my browser all week. ;) Did I mention you did a great job?

AHHHHH ADAM YOU ART SO GOOD. I don't feel super comfortable critiquing the guy I'm fighting, but I can certainly chatter away about how much I love it! I think it's super cool how you drew the first part of the comic using similar visual elements as mine, and it makes the switch later work perfectly. Amazing work dude, I really wanna make it to finals but I have no idea if I can win against what you did here.

Adam: Nicely done, you surprised me with your story! Poor Cher :( Again, I love your style! Your text has improved since last time... it got a lot smaller. Although, I spotted some spelling errors!! The only thing I'm not thrilled about was the telegram. I wish you drew your own instead of borrowing Puzzlething's drawing. I get that that is a time-saver, but *he* took the time to draw that initially. Kind weird to me. Puzzle: I always love your colors dude. I really love how you have taken each opponent and adapted them to fit in the universe you created. It was cool to see Goblin Princess as a maternal figure haha! I thought it was the right choice to throw in a bit of plot instead of focusing only on the conversations. I loved that Cher was reacting to the death around her. And omg that goblin baby was so adorable.

Well now isn't that special. It's there. I had some other things I wanted to do but perhaps another day lol. This sure was a fun one to make, I hope you all enjoy. Also first time trying the thumbnails make one image thing so if it doesn't work... such is life :) Puzzlething: Good luck and I look forward to the pure goodness i am sure your story will be. I can't wait to read it and hope my homage to you and your creation suits you :) I am still holding out hope you just sent in stick figures though... Now... LETS GET IT ON!!!! :)
