Page by page, by panel: 1.1 - LOVE THAT MAP 1.2 -If that was a game I'd play the heyell out of it 1.3 -Good angle! I was thinking that you could use some dynamic angles and you delivered here. 2.5 -Very nicely done special effect with the music. I think I got on you before about that thing where minor characters faces are blank, but that really works well in this panel! Shows that there is an appropriate place for any technique :) 3.3 -Nice and creepy keyboard 3.4 -Interesting take on Min's minions 4.3 -Really cool blast effect 4.4 -Another really cool blast/damage effect, but be careful not to let the use of background effects take away from the main action. I like the action lines of the blast itself, but I think the abundance of the other shapes/lines/strangely saped white space drew me away from the action. A nice experiment, though ~ toned down it could really work. 5.1 -Similarly to the 4.4, the suggestive outline of the forest background is interesting, but I think I would have liked to see a less sketchy way of representing background distance--perhaps simply graying it out would work since the characters themselves are so bold and clear. 5.3 -I think this is the sketchiness taken to its extreme - I would say it looks like you started rushing, but then the last page is back to your pristine style. It took me a while to find out what was going on, so there's probably clearer ways of showing the massive attack on Min. 6.1 and 6.4 -Very impressive use of black shadow, on the tree trunks and especially that boot! Nice and crisp. Very glad to see Bullet Princess in action, and looking forward to more!

Very nice! I like the throw back to video game world maps awesome touch! And I really enjoy the final shot, very tasteful end and great story

Jetster - Yeah, I almost always get confused about the deadline too. I'm just lucky I always think it's a day earlier than it is. You can totally upload BB's with dead characters though, so I hope we get to see what you had! Majikura - Man, wish everyone could've been in the PPT, princess on princess violence is the best. I think one of the best ways to approach a fight in comics is to go the whole "There's a puzzle to be understood here" that you tried, but the whole situation and solution ends up feeling manufactured because at no point do we see these rear attacks she's talking about. I know you don't have a lot of time for the set-up, but even the only other attack in the comic is portrayed as a frontal assault, both on the game board and in the action of the comic. By the way, I thought the board-game aesthetic was pretty clever, and it definitely fits BP's attitude towards war and battle. Your forest alternates between strong and vague. There are moments when you do such a great job effectively illustrating the forest in such a way that it doesn't dominate the page, yet remains clear and confident. My favorite is the forest in the top right of page 2. Simple and lovely. But then there are a lot of places where it just becomes vague and loose. It seems like you're just trying really hard to keep the heavy black and white backgrounds from overpowering your characters, but I'm not sure how much you need to worry about that when your figures are so clean and texture-less that they naturally stand out quite a bit. Certainly there are better ways to have your background recede than to remove it entirely or weaken the strength of your forms. Your sense of form is so strong I hate to see you not pushing that every chance you get.

Majikura: Again, gender neutrality. All commanding officers are referred to as 'sir' in this kingdom whether they are a male or female. If I had a comic featuring the Queen she'd be referred to as 'Sir' as well. Your explanation has proved satisfactory, the pointless questions will now cease ;)

I was led to believe the military decorum to a female superior officer was "Ma'am", not "Sir", "Sir" being reserved for..well.. males :P Anyways, it's no big deal and you probably can get away with using both (never been in the army, so I wouldn't know), just personally it makes more sense to me to call a female "Ma'am" and male "Sir" Again, gender neutrality. Kura you're my hero. My mother is back in hospital and there was a chance I wasn't going to get to upload. Extending it didn 't even occur to me. (Also my mother will be fine, this is routine - my dad is caught up at work though so I am waiting with her).
