we need more godopod battles myes

I started reading void around the time of the wacky races. When this one was posted I decided to read through the archives. After two years I have finally finished. I have absolutely no regrets.

Congrats to Majikura! I thought both of you had really entertaining comics. (Yes now I want godopods...) Pocky, I must say--welcome to Void! Florence is a really cool character, and I look forward to seeing more comics with him!

i did research on godopods. Some guy that started with "g" (haha i suck with names) created it in 2007 against some other character in a battle, and I suppose it got popular afterwards, because ppl were making their own godopod designs for their own. This is based on only the forum/da pages I saw, and pieced info together.

First off, just wanna say, great comics, the both of you, congratulations! Pocky, very nice work. It was a fun simple little premise, and it works. Somethings you might want to try to do is vary up your camera angles some more, because I note that you tend to use shots from the waist up majority of the time. Its a hard habit to get out of, but with the shot you gave us on your first page, I'm sure you can pull it off nicely. Also, keep an eye out on where the eyes are facing. On pg 4 especially, Cue's eyes in that top right panel get a little confusing. Otherwise, nice work Kura, I don't really have much to give in the way of critiques this time around. Your stuff has really tightened up nicely. As usual, your expressions are great, and I love how you pulled off the explosion effect! I don't really know what's up with these godopod things, since I get the feeling they're before my time. Keep up the good work you two! I'll be watching. Always

a couple a good one weekers! pocky I love the color page! but please work on your hands a bit, so they get consistant. sometimes they look fine, sometimes not. the hand close up in page 3 in particular is what's bugging me. you've been churning out decent quality comics though, so good job and keep it up! kura I did a double take on the godopods, haha. I think those were old news even when I joined years ago :O anyway this is real solid all around! thumbs up.

Yea it was intentional because Cue was hiding in the first few panels (and that this is a battle between cue and florence so yea it was implied). I learned some more stuff this time, will try something new next time too.

Ah both of these are so great. I really want to play Godopod it should be a real thing. I would pay all the monies. Kura your comic is hilarious. It's a pity that the top panel on page 6 is a little unfinished, but I was laughing too hard to really care (and the rest of your artwork is super swish as always). Dorky and hilarious and now that I know there's another Godopod comic I will be having another archive trawl day. Pocky, I think your experiments really paid off. The cover page is beautiful, love the use of font and everything. It is a little hard to pick the person on the first page as Cue though, with the hood on and without anything to indicate her size, it's hard to put a finger on her design. I'm not sure if that was intentional or not, but given that you tell us Cue is in the comic on the cover, I'm assuming not. Other than that, this was a really funny comic too with some nice solid art.

RETURN OF THE GODOPODS!!! Kura, you always know how to treat a guy with your comics. I might be a little sleepy right now, too, so ignore my creepy comments. You win my heart please.

Pocky: Very cute entry! I think the cover page is one of your strongest comics intros illustration-wise. I'm digging the extreme perspective with the buildings. I think you might want to make sure that not all of your panels are cutting off your characters at the torso, and maybe vary the angles up a bit. Still, I enjoyed what I read! Kura: I CAN'T STOP LAUGHING. Cue's destruction of the fourth wall is still funny, and your lines are polished as always. There is a bit of slipping/rushing around page six, but I'm sure you've noticed that as well.

oh my god I am DYING you two XD XD BOOYAH I'M WORTH 100 POINTS lol but you have a good point Kura about reading backlogs of comics because yeah, I did not know who that guy was ^^; but i guess he could kick my ass so I should go find out. and pineapple, your point about shooting an anti-cupid bullet at someone who hates you, holy hell why didn't I ever think of that! XD you guys oh my god. Great stories, great humor, great artwork all around!
