i like jules more as a character now since theres a little more to him than just "rwar kill everyone". I'd like to see you try to do that no line style you did for your backgrounds and apply it to the entire comic sometime.
hm! this one is interesting. the art is very clean and bold. the colors, and those first two drawings of jules, look nice. I feel like the art may be.. too clean though? the bgs in particular. they look vector, which isn't a bad thing, but it's almost clip-art like. some things being outlines while others aren't is kind of odd too. it'd work I think, if you maybe had it a little more uniform- having JUST figures with outlines, all outlined, or utilizing colored outlines, I dunno. some of the drawings themselves look kinda off too- weird anatomy/shapes, asymmetry to point of looking crooked, stuff like that. lastly, the flashback thing. I like that you made him in the same pose when you introduced it, but I think the effect would have been better if the two panels were on the same page next to each other. establishing shots would have benefitted it as well. all that said, this looks a lot better than your other race comic.
Awwww.... I wanna see more pre-zombie Jules! I think the difference in his personality is really intriguing. Way to go on adding more depth to your character, Video!
...commenting again to say, I don't know what you did, but I just remembered that last night I had a dream about Jules Saphir, and now I think we have to battle sometime. BUT STAY OUT OF MY MIND.
aww! Jules is breaking my heart! This story was bittersweet, and your colours are getting really great! (though some of the kids had some weirdly big heads)
What?! Are you saying there is more to Jules's story after his death? Thats so ... foreboding! Jeez, I wish I knew what that meant.
Anyway, premonitions aside, I didn't really do this in 24 hrs, I was working on it off and on for the last few weeks. I didn't have any time for comics but now I do. So expect some more from me in the near future.
