I get the impression from the anatomy that you've practiced only looking at a lot of other anime. Study more from life & it'll inform your style a lot. Also, pay attention to poses, & natural/comfortable poses vs this limb here & this limb there. The way you draw her limbs akimbo sometimes is quite awkward. Also, what are the purpose of the weird polygonal panel shapes? They're not adding to the story or composition, & if anything crop a panel awkwardly & leave a ton of gutter space. And you've got this dramatic fall in this, but no tall panels to help sell it. And all of the angles are fairly straight forward. It steals from any intended impact you're going for. For instance, if you show her falling, why not angle it above her more & show the distance she's got to drop? Have it take up two tiers of panels if need be. Or conversely, angle the crash panel in the other direction, showing us the height she just survived from. The way it is, she's straight in front of us crashing, but the horizon extends up behind her giving us the impression we're looking down a little. Meanwhile, if we look at the horizon, she looks like she's cratering past the car, deeper into the street. It looks off. And as far as the English goes, personally, I think it's ok if she's a little off. I'd be willing to buy it since she's coming from a more fantasy side, like a weird inexplicable Arnold accent. That said, you should really buddy up with someone to run other character's dialogue by just as a way to make them sound more natural going forward. Because while it can work for her, other characters, not so much.

I don't know if it's intended, but make sure grammar and spelling is better. I like interesting frame shapes. I have an issue with consistent style as well (but then again every comic could be a different style from this one). I think there is a small problem with depth in the picture, from shading. Try to make the things that are farther away from the front possibly lighter/less saturated. Sometimes that can work the other way too (where the front is the brightest, and the further back things are, the darker).

Firstly big thanks for you critique Poketmouse! It is really obvious that there are felt DECADES from page to page... And you pointed out right that im experimenting in every single frame, which really bothers myself. The hardest thing to me seems to develop an consistend style. But i hope that i will manage to feel more confident about what im doing!

I think Pocketmouse said all that needed to be said but I will add that I am pleased because I see great improvement from previous entries in the incubator. So keep in mind the things you are weak at (faces, hands, whatever) and keep at it, you'll improve in no time.

Hi there, good to have your character with us! :'D I'm just going to suggest a couple of things to work on for next time; Your drawing of the face. At the moment it's a little wonky, just look for a facial structure tutorial via google, there are plenty of good ones, learn the proportions and use reference if you need to. Especially please do not connect the eye to the side of the face in 3/4 views this very rarely works visually, always leave a little bit of fleshy face between the end of the eye and the side of the face. Hands! Nasty tricksy hands! You're going pretty good, just remember the hand is approximately the same length as the face. Don't believe me? Put your hand the side of your face. The bottom of your palm will be in contact with your chin and your fingertips will be near your hairline somewhere. Keep that in mind when drawing, especially when the face and the hand are in the same frame. Your lining style changes for page to page, especially with the speech bubbles. I'd just say next time keep it consistent. You spent a lot of time between the creation of these individual page and I am sure that is the reason for this, but be concious of it and focus on not letting it happen next time. Also your colouring style shifts around a load. Sometimes even in the same frame there is a shift. Best example is top of page three, where she land on the car. Big dust cloud in front, big dust cloud behind, both rendered very differently. I guess, just work on picking one style of lining and colouring/shading for the comic, it will make it more cohesive. Style is something that you'll be able to develop over lots of time (foreeeeeeverrrrr), so Playing about with it is good, but shifting about so much in the same frame makes it feel slightly unfinished and undecided on what you wanted to achieve. So yes; Pick one style and run with it (for at least the frame, even if you can't do the whole comic that way.) Last thing I'm going to mention is the use of colour itself. There's no real contrast between the shades you are using; the choice of tone is nice in places, some frames where the city is bluish grey and cold she stands out because she is brownish warm tones. But then there are also frames where she gets a little lost. Be concious of this. Contrast is really important in images, it will help you guide the viewers eye. This guys work is good for colour http://pascalcampion.deviantart.com/art/Dive-327745033?q=favby%3Apocketm0use%2F51029512&qo=34 and this one is a good example too http://pocketm0use.deviantart.com/favourites/?offset=72#/d54v22d Hopefully that will help you start to understand it a bit better! All that aside, It's really great to see this finished up here. This was a nice short snappy read and I can't wait to see this 'power of nature' stuff in action!
