wow you guys there was some nice storytelling in these! I liked them!

ROFLQU- I'm super surprised to see that with only 3 pages you managed to tell a well rounded and engaging story. Those establishing shots were really great and you could tell you really enjoyed that cameo panel drawing different fighters. The goop and grime of the city is what drew my eye-especially the SDT posters plastered on the walls. Really great little touches. Elvis has such a Sandman's 'Death' feel to him, but then again maybe that's what you were going for. You managed to make a seemingly plain looking well to do character very intriguing, sir. Keep it up. :) G-P-S-DEVICE- I'll be the first to admit my bias when this battle came up. I skimmed through yours and then rushed to ogle rofl's because that's what I wanted to see. I swung on back here to leave my comments/votes and decided to give your side another chance by really reading it though and I am so very glad I did. Really really fantastic storytelling. Everything from the flashbacks, to the way his hand changed in between and the perfect touch of color on that very important ticket towards his last ride. You really have a handle on how to make a comic almost seem like visual poetry with how it flows and moves the action, even if the bulk of it is sitting on a bench. I thought I had my votes decided, but you made me a believer, G-P-S. Giving you higher marks.
