Crazy, Gonna, Crazy...this was one of the more creative fights I've seen in a while. While there have been plenty of inactive entries, this one boasted a battle of idealologies and philosophy. Very well done, in further explaining your character. I'm really into what you've got so far, and can't wait to see where you take him. AVT- I have to agree with Iketeru and say that showed an absolute lack of taste and tact. Bad jokes aside, that was a very solid entry. Fuu- That was an alternate route that you executed brilliantly. Though it was only a conversation, the angles and art kept me from getting bored, and as always your dialouge was very well written.

sorry buds, im gonna hafta go with fushada on this one... he just blew my mind away avt, the colorign was cool. i honestly didnt get most of the jokes becuase my vocabulary is limited. the fact that your fight is incomplete left me unimpressed with your battle a whole compared to fuu's true its not as colored or flashy as avt's, but fuu's battle had story, depth, uniqueness and style. i loved it man. the panels, the angles, bg's, it just rocked. and jack, im adding you to my hitlist X3, would love to have my character battle yours.

AVT : Excellent first entry, and I'm seeing some MAD effort on your end. I'm also agreeing with IkeGuy about the script...some of the jokes left me like "Meh", but I guess that's part of Jack's "strange sense of humor". I didn't quite feel the 'innocent bystander' character that Jack's profile described him as, in fact he had the whole "Hey, I'm a killer" thing going on which didn't quite fit my expectations of the character. Nonetheless, you put down an excellent fight and I can't wait to see the other 6 pages. Fuu : Just...wow. I'm totally blown away. Not a SINGLE blow was thrown and I was JUST as satisfied. My boy, you've got this storywriting thing in the bag ! This battle clearly shows that Crazy Sam is not only crazy in habits, but crazy in ideals too ! It's just....crazy ! (like watching Lain...O_O;) I'm loving this character more and more. Keep up the good work !

Hey y'all! Wow, this battle sure did get up quick, I'm glad I got it in on time. I'm even more glad that AVT came out, yaay, no more default nonsense. Yeah AVT, I'm very happy with what you came up with, it's lovely work like I knew it would be. Now everyone can see how cool Jack is, eh? And now you can see why my take on this was a little daring eh? Like I told you, even though you were headed in the 7 (now apprently 6) page fully colored direction, I still wanted to see what I could do with the three page limit with just pencil. I'm surprised you decided to go with the straight up confrontation idea, but hey, you pulled it off well. Yo Dingo, sorry if it was painful for you, but fact of the matter is, Crazy's not a character that can stick by action alone, although rest assured that not all my entries will be like dis. I just wanted to try something special with this boy Jack, it's something I had been planning on for a wee bit. Ohh man, and finally I can stretch a bit and enjoy a brief relaxing period. Wow! This was truly a clash of titans! Voting is gonna be hard... :( Jack: Wow... lots and lots of effort was put into this fight, plus the fact that it's a match that's going to be continued adds on to the entertainment value! I really like how your lineart turned out, and the coloring ain't that bad either. It was a tough choice but I think that my vote will go to you due to how much effort was put into this fight, though some of the jokes are a tad... strange (heh heh heh) still a wonderful first fight! I'm not a huge fan of anime either, but I accept creativity in whatever form it presents itself. Consider this as a training ground for comic artists. I think the problem, Mr. Gray, is that your opinion didn't hold any sort of valuable information. "The dialogue is recycled" is one opinion you gave. Whose? Jack's? Crazy Samurai's? Both? Whatever the case may be, what does it remind you of, and what suggestions do you have to make it better? You're "too much of a hetero-elitest" is another opinion you gave. This part has nothing to do with the quality, creativity, or entertainment. I think that the point of this is to give CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, not just criticism that fell out of your butt. Your opinions may have been more well received if they were backed by some relevant material that elaborated on "this is recycled dialogue" and gave a more helpful critique to the artists. By the way, I'm no math wizard (well, actually, I am), but "hetero-supremist" + bragging of "tattooing hot girls in unmentionable places" = someone who is insecure in their masculinity and probably daydreams about gettin' it on with goats.

I've only one thing to say to Mr. Grey and it isn't a flame to be honest: Fight me first at void, if your art is as supperb as you yourself put it then you by all means can rip any artist that you like until somebody bans you or... something along those lines. Anywho, I think this was one of the greatest fights I've seen in a long time as I've said before, and Jack won by just 1 measely point! That's a rare thing if you ask me!
