For anyone that's upset about Ninemafia's comic not being posted: The mods completely understand that situation Nine was in, and even though Nine was upfront and did everything she could, an extension couldn't be granted. Everyone get's the same deadline, and especially in a tournament situation it's extremely important to keep things fair for all. Comics are posted manually, so there is some wiggle room, but the extra time that was requested was just way too much, and it was decided that unfortunately Nine would have to default. Giving certain people extra time and not to others creates an unfair environment to compete in, even when the person has a legitimate reason for more time. So, I hope you all understand that it's nothing against Ninemafia, we just have to keep things fair when possible. I personally apologized to Ninemafia about the situation, and if anyone needs a further explanation then feel free to PM me about it.

I heard about Ninemafia. That suuuuuuuuuucks. D: Gibbo, you're doing really good. I never have any problem with your comics, just the figures. Take this week to mess around with deforming the models and exaggerating them. The battle poses were too stiff! Ab.T, you've got a nice style, girlfriend. But ya gotta work on finishing your stuff. Still, I liked yours a lot. The only real problem I had aside from the "To be cont" was that Azelle only appeared in the last page.

Gibbo: not a bad comic, it was fun, but your action scenes in your comics come off as really stiff, as if they were models posed in that way, and you drew them, rather than actually drawing an action happening. That was my biggest gripe. Albino: pretty good comic, but it took a while to pick up, and because of the nature of it being a multi-part arch, it never really went anywhere, sadly. Still, it looked nice, despite being sketchy and rough still. Good job

Nine, you know how I feel about this. :| Gibbo: I really enjoyed your comic but, I had the biggest luls of all from something that perhaps wasn't really a joke. I thought it was very funny ( and didn't know if it was on purpose) to give Bhindi a two armed coat...after she had been all butthurt about having four arms. It came off as a nice gesture at first glance but in retrospect, it could be considered a bit of a flippant move. Hahahah. I am in general agreement with folks about the static fighting poses and expressions so not much to say there. I gotta say I salute you for all these full colour rounds though. You're a hero of time management! Hahah. Albino: The more I see your sketchy style the less it bothers me. But maybe that's because I really like how fluid and expressive your characters, movements, and panels are. It could also be that I've never seen a finished or super clean comic from you, so I wasn't expecting super linework or anything. Hah hah. So while it would be nice to see, I'm not disappointed to NOT see it. If that makes sense. I really like how you have the characters interacting. It's a shame Azelle didn't get more screen time, but time eats away at us all in these week long things so, I definately understand. And as the only three people in a three way match, I can see how it could be hard to cram it all in. Good work anyway, this is one of my favs this round.

ninemafia: Please post your comic somewhere! Even if you have to take photos with your cell phone, I want to seeeeeee... Gibbo: It's nice to see some real action from you! I'm also impressed at how much of a jerk Azelle comes off as here... Whether its her actual character, or just about time the city pushed her to her limits, I guess I'll have to wait and see! Your action poses still seem a little stiff, but I'd rather your next focus be on expressions. There are a couple you hit really well, particularly for more subtle emotion shifts. It's the big ones, like rage, that I don't think are as strong as they have the potential to be. Albino: Man, it is a major bummer that your comic is incomplete again. Worse is the fact that Azelle only makes a cameo, when she really should have been included in the plot. Finals is a good reason, but for your next battle, I'd really like to see you really buckle down on the story, par it down to a reasonable length, and then make sure the comic is 100% complete. For instance, in this comic, you've got two pages dedicated to the gag with the police chief... cut it! Simple as that. With a little more time spent picking and choosing elements that don't really add to the story, you'll have something you can manage within a week. And if you finish early? Go ahead and toss in a few extra scenes, as long as they don't hurt the story...
