cool stuff good to see you still working on Mikal

The_BenT_One: I love your stylized linework, but some of the poses are a bit off. It always pays to do some anatomy practice and figure work. Some of the penciling looked a little rushed and/or incomplete, but for the most part, it's very solid. I would LOVE to see this inked! LOOKS TIGHT! -Thanks! Some panels were rushed howerever a great deal of my penciling got ate up by my scanner. Something I'm working on for future works. My goal was to get my pencils tight enough to negate inking cause I suck at it for one and for two I can do more with shading and weights with pencils but c'est la vie. Gotta get good eventually. Next will be better as I try to incorporate new skills into my repitoire. As for the pacing and the writing, good job! I was at no time bored. Props on the true form release, always a badass move in battles! -Glad you enjoyed it! I almost veered away from the epic level spells but I figured it would convey the gravity of the scene better than it would be cliche. The word balloons were the only thing that annoyed me, but then if you don't have Adobe Illustrator your choices are kind of limited. I would suggest planning where they go before you start drawing/scan them in, and then use tracing paper and draw/ink them be hand and write the dialogue in. then you can erase the dialogue in your program and type it in. this way, you can do all sorts of cool custom lettering and balloon styles and it will really compliment your style and give your comics pop! -Easy fix. Acquired Illustrator. Now to learn to use it ;) Also, I like this character quite a lot. a battle might be in our futures... -Game on. :)

I really did love some of your stylized expressions. And yes, I was a little thrown off by the word balloons, especially where the type goes outside the balloon itself. I also agree with Bent One about some of the posing, for example Mikal with the gun on page 2. That said, there were some really nice parts (V'laria's poses were frequently nice, like on page 3 especially) and I was entertained throughout! Keep the good comics coming!
