Thanks guys.
You're right about the logo being jarring before the pages. Finding that texture was easier than finding the time to do this in full color. I feel it would've probably have been a lot less jarring then.
Sweet work Kuro, the art/pacing/paneling are looking swell! I enjoy the lil paneling thing you did on the bottom of pg. 2. The logo is cool, but I would rather see some line drawing with it or nothing at all, quite jarring to jump from that photo-dirt texture to your art on page 2... good typography though. Looking forward to the ride!
this is very... pretty. I love the slow pace of this beggining, it's slow done right, just kind of observative of this world you're making, lets us slip into it.
I'm excited to see what you'll of it!
Uploaded.
Realize I'm short of the 11 page quota. I owe about 17 & 1/2-ish with this next point. I know. I know.
Sorry about that fourth page. It wasn't super essential, just felt right pacing wise. Put it off to last & tried to finish, but I'm tired & would rather just get to work on the next half fresh. Know that glossary doesn't mean shit as I haven't got into the story yet really, but it was fun to do. And like I said earlier, I kind of plan to go big on this story, probably past the 22; especially after finding getting a good idea about what i wanna do a couple of days ago
Yeah, that "One-Shot" title's a bit misleading. I know it's an artist BB thing but yeah.
Like I said in the thread, I was hoping to get some prep stuff done, but I only got two or three sketches done without a script.
Probably being way too ambitious... again.
Bust some balls in here Kuro. I can't wait to read yours either (I've said this on all of them but its true haha).
And the disclaimer I am gonna post on each of these:
Remember people who read/vote , these are being split into two pieces. So this first round is just the first half of the comic and the next round will be the second half. So if the story is fragmented at all by anybody, that would be why.
