Thanks guys!
And thanks Frazzler for understanding the concepts and I'm sorry for your eyes... I could've considered reader comfort a bit more. I didnt want to put a limited palette on the page itself because that kind of decision is a part of style, but yeah, I guess could have toned it down overall.
Self-exploration pieces are always really cool. I don't think this was an exception. I like the concept behind the actual story for this.A character with a constant gateway into everyone else's minds struggling to understand and accept herself? Good stuff.
I feel your shifting style throughout this was a really nice way to visually represent a sort of inner turmoil and confusion. And I'm going to assume you were going for a sort of psychedelic feel too, however I think those two aspects may have conflicted.
I saw a lot of style changes and bright-ass colours that just assaulted me at times. Everything was busy. So very busy. I felt a little uncomfortable, which is nice reaction, but not if it might dissuade someone form continuing to read your comic. Some styles were cool but I wasn't so keen on the scribbly ones myself. Haha, not sure why.
So yeah, I think I saw what you were shooting for, and I would just suggest not trying to go too mad, and maybe toning down the eye-bleeding colours in a piece like this. Maybe settling on some pallet to make pages seem coherent.
Last tidbit: The panels where things were yellow and what everything was has it's name written on it in green, I liked that a lot. Helped enforce the questioning of identity. I like Lucy.
Oh, how I waited for this! I love how bizarre it is and just can't wait to see more, so that maybe I would be able to understand something ;)
Second panel, page 8: MALKOVICH MALKOVICH MALKOVICH
Alright, pages and thumbs, ready to go.
