Michael H - Thnaks a ton for that in depth crit man, i really appreciate that. since i read it a week ago i've been hard at work rounding out those rough spots you pointed out (stiff figuers, use of blacks etc.) You also pointed out a lot of things that were bugging me as i made this, so its good to have validation for those mistakes as well. Sorry for not doing more with GR is this, but hey, i enjoyed drawing him much more than flint throughout this. I hope we can duke it out someday, i know you'll actually deliver ;) Alberto- Thanks a bunch man, glad to hear the perspective "looks" correct. Fetus that was entertaining and well drawn. Shit...if i look back on when we fought, i'd say YOU are the one that took a massive leap forward:D Crispy clean and nice compositions. Mr. Harris said it best with the Frankenstein thing. A forward lean or slight crouch would drastically add to the ''oh crap'' moment. That car on the first page, i don't know if it's proportionally correct with its perspective and all that, but that there sir, is damn slick. I like how you drew it. Actually, i love the car in every scene. The car is my favourite character in this comic. Aside from the previous poster's adressed stiffness issues, this comic flowed well, had an interesting story (even though i was looking for a more gruesome death) and contains pacing i can learn from. Congratulations, you just fukked yourself into a rematch i will haunt you with for as long as i can! hahaha Again, that car deserves his own match ups with other fighters. Hope you stay a bit longer, i'd love to see you in more of these adventures. David's pages show as a white 800px wide horizontal bar. (i have the same problem with the webcomics and upload previews, i wonder if anyone else noticed the issue lately) Sucks. Cuz i still wanted to know the idea behind what you were gonna draw. I hope we can still face off someday if fate permits.

Fetus Man --- i loved your comic... the pacing was great.. the panel layout was good and solid... Art wise, very good and consistent.. I loved your use of environment drawings.. perspective looks dead on. I think colors would help a lot or if not colors then some kind of toning.... The only panel i had issues with is panel 6, page 8... when the arm is snapped at the elbow it seems off a bit... but that's it good work. Amazing david --- nice script. A little too large though... oooppss that's been touched on already... ah well looking forward to your next battle.

Fetus While these looked good, they felt more like tight roughs rather than finished pieces. I know there were time issues but I am just going to give a full critique, so just take what applies. If you were going to do black and white I would suggest adding some black placement or heavier outlines to help fill the space. That is a nice god damn car btw. I am sure you know about the interior. The biggest problem I see(aside from the fact that you think Copperhead could take GR in a fight) is your characters seem very stiff. I am sure you know about the balance line(or whatever its called) that the feet have to be under the body mass for a person to be logically standing. The problem is all your characters do this all the time. They are never off balance. On page seven when GR is sneaking up on Copperhead I would suggest you have him leaning into it. Because he is straight up, with perfect posture it kind of looks like he's doing a frankenstein thing. Having him leaning into more of a tackle posture would make it more dynamic and realistic.I would also work on the Medic's expression in the last panel on page 5, he looks really surprised, but in the panel where he gets his fingers pulled off, he looks terrified. I would like to see him just as terrified in the last panel. Again in the GR fight, everyone is standing perfectly balanced. If you watch MMA fighting those guys are almost never standing up straight. There are a some of continuity errors too. Copperhead grabs the medic with his right hand and the gun in his left, then on the bottom panel he has the gun in his right hand and the medic with the left. On that last, blasphemous panel on page 8, GR has two left hands. Your figure drawing is awesome. The pacing is great. I suggest throwing some lean in your characters, especially in fight scenes and running scenes. Dave. You suck, at least give the man a splash page.

Thanks guys David - You know, part of me expected you to not do anything after hearing you wanted flint dead, but the other part of me was expecting to be humbled by a completely awesome battle. Sure you uploaded what looks to be a nice script, but I'm still left feeling very cheated, I'm not gonna jump around and whine at you because i don't know your side of this , but hell, even a single drawing would have been appreciated. I'm going to leave this one with a living old man and a score i didn't really earn. On another note, my half of this was fairly rushed, I only worked on it the last week of the challenge really, so i apologize for how blank everything is. By my next comic i hope to have experimented more with heavy blacks so i can make some wiser decisions on how to lay them down. They're pretty barren in this one. Next time things will be better, but i'm taking a break from this for now. Ive got school to focus on. Thanks for taking the time to read my pages everyone, and double thanks to those who left insightful, useful comments .

amazingdavid: Whenever life actually happen or not, I have a feeling that you were emotionaly ready to even default on this one - losing Flint without a fight. I read the script after making Mozzila's page zoomed out to 20-30% or something. Neat story, and I did use my imagination, but if it was for your imagination then you could do it like a real book with long descition of scenary and character's looks. It would be like a graphic novel vs actual novel XD Fetus Man: GhostRevolver and Flint were like unseparatable team in Void and thanks to that impression (Ghost was in nearly all of Flint's battles) I started thinking that Ghost would be killed too XD I find the end believable. I saw shaded pages and they look 200% better than the ones with just whites. Even without colors or greys, lines give impression of a finished battle by themself. I enjoyed this battle :)

David, your script is as boring and uncreative as most of your comics typically are, but on the other hand your visuals this time were surprisingly well crafted and clean. That being said it's still immensely entertaining. Heck I'm actually taking a break from my job (of drawing comics) to vote and comment on this fight. Good luck. ;D

Mr. David, It's really sad you couldnt make it, that script is fucking awesome D: Mr. Man, great comic, it only lacks in dead flints, but neat inks and pacing.

I'm not sure what happened here, or what's going on? An unfinished death? A script with pages so big it won't fit on my desktop screen?

Fetus Man: Man, you didn't get to an actual death, but judging by the backwoods farmer garb that Copper Mouth is wearing, I can only assume he reenacted the Deliverance scene with Flint Locke so many times until he died from it. Or maybe you have something else in mind, who knows. I really liked the backgrounds you made, they're simple but it really worked well here. I also was a big fan of how you did your action and gore. All that zombie work seriously helped you get a lot of bloody brutal action off just right. I'm really enamored with page 8 and how you had Copper Mouth's face alter because of him biting Ghost Revolver's arm, a lot of people wouldn't think to add the wrinkling on the face from that. You've got really fluid action. This comic really could have used some blacks or grays in there and I know you were in the process of making them before this comic got put up all of a sudden. If you plan to finish this story, I would make sure you boost the quality a little in that area, just so there's no so much white space. Otherwise, this was a fantastic comic. I really hope to see you in the ring again soon. Good job. AmazingDavid: Hey, tough luck man. That stuff happens though. For what its worth, your story sounded like it had promise. Maybe do a beyond battle of it if you ever find the time. Or don't, you've still got a character that's a bit underused. Always free to move on.
