Man.. I feel like I've improved in some places and gotten worse in others :/

whooo! a vanishing point! wheee! I enjoyed the city page a lot. I wasn't a big fan of the diagonal page breaks. I know horizontal might have been a bit boring but the diagonals just seem to draw unwanted attention to themselves. I wasn't a big fan of the city scape on the last page either. It flowed well and I enjoyed it. I would keep working on anatomy too. good job.

Oh, no, I see all that, I'm talking about the sentence I quoted, specifically: "The way you handled You need to work with your anatomy.." You capped the 2nd 'you' and the 1st part of the sentence (the way you handled) makes no sense with the rest of it.

The weeks thing confused me slightly at first. Though it was something I can't say I've seen used. But, maybe coloring them with week by week matching color schemes might have been helpful? *shrug* Cool beans none the less!

I also have to say that I'm impressed with how well this battle looks compared to some of your previous work. Good job. To further help you out you should check out DC Guide to Digital Comics" they have some tricks and stuff that you might find useful but I definitely like the vibe I'm getting from your hand drawn digital work.

Hmm I can't say that what you tried to achieve is the same as what the other comics tried to achieve in making a 'song' comic. Those other comics tried to be self contained with the songs they were integrating and didn't do such a hot job of it. It's really not an easy fusion. What you have here is more of a song setting the mood for the comic, so it's cool that you used Vivian as a way to set up this introduction. It's a different brand of 'song comic' but it's fine.

A very nice minimalist comic. Story was there with very little dialogue and great use of a visual story outlining the events (not to give any spoilers.) Also nice choice in music, looked it up and it really enhanced the story which even by itself gave a fine sense by itself. A nice addition to arena's story and a bold new chapter. Can't wait to see what is now in store for her. Also, I love the new look she is sporting as well. :) A wonderful new comic all around. :)
