Yo Monday, your quick "kick-em in the face" style of fights is deeply satisfying. I love the fact that Agent Black will just shoot some dude in the face in the middle of his intro chatter. Keep rocking it!

This is a continuation of the epo fight, I should've mentioned it explicitly in the comic. In which case its my fault that the two pieces are too dependent on each other. And yeah, that fatality deserves a beyond battle to explain it. I have no excuses otherwise, thanks for the feedback.

Fred, I would keep working on anatomy and perspective, storywise: I just found their interaction too unbelievable for me to get into the story. I enjoyed the one word pages. I think you should keep them. Monday, I can't really tell what's going on in a lot pages. I have to re read a lot of panels to understand what is going on as well. This was happening throughout the entire comic, but I just want to give an example. I couldn't tell what the thing was on the last panel of the first page, then I go to the second and he's holding a box that's pouring something out and there is a guy flying out in the distance somewhere. Then I had to go over it at least two more times to understand that he was shooting at someone. IT may have helped to establish that his opponent was in the air. I really like your art, I would just love a lot more clarity as to what was happening. storywise: Agent black spent the entire comic killing this guy over and over again, so it kind of takes away from the "final" death. It just begs the question, why won't Morimurr just get right back up like he has been doing all along. I had no idea who the female was nor why she was with him, and no idea what her motivation was. So she got on my nerves a bit, I also didn't understand why/how black transformed Sentai style as well. Everything just seemed way to random for me to care about the characters or get into the story.

LeFred - Good show! First, as Orange mentioned: the one word pages. I liked the idea, but can't help but feel it hurt the pacing a little bit. Maybe in some other media, like an animation they would have worked where they could have had some sort of musical cue or beat to land on. Here, I would have preferred to see it as one splash page say as one of the first few pages. Like a late title card right before the action hits. Otherwise a good entry. Mort is an interesting character, I commend you for putting him on the line, but would be sad to see him go. Monday - You have such a rich, distinct style, I really appreciate it. A few have mentioned confusion while reading, I had some issues too, but actually upon a second reading, there's nothing blatantly confusing. I think the issue is just having to adjust to your visual expression, which can be a task, especially after just reading a comic with such a different visual style. I wish I could offer more technical crit, but these are just the thoughts in my head, wanted to offer them up. Otherwise I thought this was a strong entry, nice gritty action. Maybe a little aside at the end, as Colin suggested, would have been nice, but I'm satisfied by a little melon smashing. TL;DR - Good work both of you, it'll be a shame to see one of these characters go, but it was an enjoyable end!

I'm glad that there was even a climax and a middle to speak of, not glad that the ending still needs a ways to go. And though while I felt that this is one of the better comics I pulled off in terms of what I wanted to get done, this is the necessary disatisfaction needed to continue improving as an artist. Thanks to that, I'll know what parts i'd need to work on next time. THanks : D

LeFred: I liked yours. Quite a bit more than I thought I would. Color wasn't bad at all. Backgrounds were a bit lacking, BUT, I enjoyed that they were still in there. In terms of story, yeah, both comics are pretty similar, but I think yours had a much better execution of it. If you lose, I really hope you make a new character soon. :D Monday: I have to pretty much echo what Orange said. Like most, if not all of your battles, I had trouble deciphering what was happening panel to panel. Also, I have to rant about that ending. We know this is a death match. We know going into this, that the opponent will die in your comic. That right there takes in sudden shock or surprise out of his death, which seemed to try to be shocking and surprising (my wording is terrible). But that's not even the problem I have with it. It's how abrupt it is. That's no ending. You have a beginning, middle, but no end. No falling action. You end with the climax. Without even the slightest bit of resolution, I just read your comic, and it has no impact with me. It just feels incomplete, or like I just read a sampling of something bigger. It just irks me, is all. It was, however, a good match, and a good set of comics

Montag - Always fun to read your comics, great action panels and fresh ideas. One things that gets me still though is it doesnt seem like you have much of a foundation on a lot of your characters, making them look like boards. A little more love on the layouts of these would make them absolute gold. I was still really entertained. Hope you and i can deathmatch someday... Der Fred - Hey, first off, big kudos for going into a deathmatch with monday, that takes some intestinal fortitude. Your half was really neat, story was easier to follow than mondays, and i liked how you took him out in the end. A lot of what i said to Monday also applies to you, take more time building up your environments and objects, as well as people. I wasn't at all convinced by the destroyed city scape, or the busted up building the story took place in. This lack of detail really brought your half down. A little more effort would have really helped you out in the end. Good work to the both of you guys. I'll be sure to attend the funeral of the vanquished.

Lefred, I'm glad you took the time to understand and really run with the concept that agent black presents. On top of that, on a DEATHMATCH too ! That's why I was really excited for the idea that a demon was coming for black ! It's a shame however, that one of us is gonna have to die, but that's all but a slight mishap compared to the great stuff that came out of this bloody struggle. Thanks man, you came at this with admirable determination, and I feel all the more better for giving this one my all as well.

Roflqu- I had ideas rolling from the moment I took on this challenge XD Stost- I know D: shading is my favorite part but I just didnt have time... Orange- Thanks! I dodn't how well the one word pages would work either. but I had some kind of... sentimental attachement? because they were what constructed most of the story. Monday! Damn epic. I the way the word was meant to be used. Facing an army of zombies nightmares from a past you suddenly remember? YES. The end really made me laugh. It was an honor to be killed by you. ;)

Le Fred - Wow man, way better than in the INV! I enjoyed your comic more in terms of the entertainment, it was better written IMO. Art wise you've improved but I had to give the edge in quality to Monday. Still, stick around! There were a few parts where thought the story was a little rough, and the overuse of those one word pages might have hurt you a bit as well. Still, great writing - Morti is a pretty creepy dude . Last page had me cracking up haha cause thats what I thought with Boek too. Monday - your Comic overall looked better but sometimes I found the way you drew it to be confusing. Some panels the black lines just looked like they all mixed in with one another and it was hard to tell what was going on. Still really nice action and art : D. The story was almost the same for both entries, but I found yours to be a little harder to enjoy. Some of it felt a little...forced? Either way, great comic from you too. Nice battle guys :)

Monday - Fix your faces. Your girl still comes off as something a weeaboo drew (esp. on page 8). Your level of detail blew LeFred out of the water though. Le Fred- Shading. What it is? Your drawings look cheap without it. But good use of color, made Monday's look like it was lacking a dimension in comparison.
