To those looking for a relevant plot read to our parts- skim through arma 06, my battle with Ben, and my Deathmatch with Skye. I tried to keep this as self containted as possible but some things can't be helped with the lack of contect - thanks for reading everyone !

As I was writing my comments, I felt I was becoming a broken record. So rather than individual crits, I'll just sum up my basic feelings. As a newbie, I found myself lost in both comics. I'll definitely need to go back and play a little catch up and hopefully come to a better understanding as to what exactly is going on here. One question for Neko, what exactly is Black's scar supposed to be? Regardless, you both did well for 7 days time!

RTV: I know exactly what you mean with the faces- its been the one thing I need to unwind from my system the most and thanks for putting a vote for handwritten textesessss Orange: I was really terrible for it- but the scar Epo have is implied. If you knew her before this battle- she didn't have a prosthetic leg. How she got it is implied between the two events that take place in the comic - And yeah it's too bad I couldn't do as much with one week here as I did in my previous battles but thanks for reading anyway !

Krissychan - I like the sketchiness on the first three pages. Especially the establishing shot at the last panel of page3. At some points it seems a bit too sketchy which made me think some of the shadows on Black's throat look like beards. Could be me though. It definitely adds to the dynamic of movement and action in the last pages. I really enjoyed the surprise note at the end. Both of you had an ending that made me want to know more. It's satisfying, yet it feels as if there's a page missing. Still a powerful entry for a one week deadline. Monday - This is one of those few moments where i prefer your handwritten dialogue over it's digital counterpart. The text/font came off visually too strong. I dunno how to explain, it didn't really mix with the art style? Speaking of the art style, i love those shadows, colour scheme and highlights in the flashback scene! Respect for your understanding of movement and atmosphere. What gets in the way is that sometimes yer characters all have the same headshape/facial structure but different hair colour. (see first two thumbnails) Variety is the spice of life, young padawan. That shovel appearing out of nowhere made my fukking day. hahaha Sweet ending, wish there was more though. Nice work for 7 days, people.

Nice battle you guys! You want feedback, I'll try and give it I guess! I really don't have a whooole lot to say considering it was a one week battle and all. Anyway, Neko - Cool comic but some of it was hard to see due to the sketchyness of it, but I made out most of it anyway. The story did end rather abruptly for me but yeah, gonna echo the sentiment that it was a little hard to follow! Monday - Cool stuff dude for a week, again some parts were a little tough for me to make out cause of all the heavy blacks and stuff. The word bubbles sort of confused me too, the start you had them printed and then there was also text...and then the rest were done with text. The magical shovel gun though was pretty funny haha. Again the ending seemed very sudden to me though, I guess it was the intention for both sides to do this? The last thing I am not so clear on is that this is a scar match...but what are the scars inflicted to each character? I must have missed it in here somewhere or it was really subtle. Other than that though it was a really cool battle :). My word probably means zilch, but those are my thoughts =). Maybe one day I'll fight one of you guys.

Yay thanks for the comments ya'll. I know invitational is gonna be taking up a lot of your energies but myself and krissy would appreciate some feedback since she'll be stuck in the desert for a week and I'll be in no-internet land as well. Krissy i found your comic to be a little confusing at parts. the pages seemed almost jumbled and were a little hard to follow. I enjoyed most of it though.

Thanks from over here in the middle east for uploading the comic. I don't normally explain myself with the comic way before its said and done--the comic is finished. Really. For the most part. Story wise that was where I wanted it to end--sudden and quick. It probably came out more awkward than the way I intended it to be. For a week long battle I thought I did better than I would for a year long dry spell on void, so regardless of the outcomes I'm still pleased. and hopefully this'll come out and turn out to be something more than just a long-waited visit.

I think you both did about par for what you can do, with Monday ekking out a higher quality in my eyes. Both got higher marks on the entertainment in consideration of the twist both had. With Black's grave full of explosive fun and the girlscout of post-its, I was left quite amused. I especially love how Krissy's comic had the foreshadow on the aforementioned girlscout. the only thing that bugs me is that Krissy's side feels unfinished T3T maybe there are still some missing pages?

Krissy's pages didn't upload and no one told me she'd tried to upload until the battle went up. It's unfortunately in Toast's hands now, I've contacted him about it but haven't heard back. This is why it's always a good habit to post a comment that you've uploaded/tried to upload and to double check if your stuff went through okay :( Because if something goes wrong and I have no idea you'd tried to upload and something went wrong, I put it up.
