It *DID* feel kinda like a chillin' trailer for an upcoming blockbuster- I really dug it. :3 I've always had a soft spot for Doc Pye- small man, BIG ambitions. You're freaked out, but you totally want ot see what he has in store.
I definitely want ot see more and want ot battle. Great stuff man.
you need to put as much effort into all your panels that you put in the last panel of page 4. thats the best i've seen from you so far thomas. keep it up.
This is a vast improvement, Pi. Good work.
You're one of a handful of artists who really looks at the big picture of Void in your comics. Most others keep their heads down, just worrying about their own character and storyline, but you like to integrate everything, don't you? Can't wait to see what's next.
Pretty awesome Pi, only thing that bugs me is the anatomy of the faces, the skeletons, skulls, and humans in general.
Estrella there on page 4 is a good example, her eyes are way up on her forehead dude, she looks like Shrapnel Girl only more stretched out. Those skeletons and other bones really need some touching up dude, the tube with the ribs and spine looks really crazy, like the guy has got 40 rib bones, and humans don't gots a bunch of ribs.
On the plus side though, when it comes to telling a story you're doing quite well so far, we're really seeing more and more of the good ol' Doctor's intentions by the minute and it's quite frightening. Your angles and paneling are also pretty spot on through-out the comic as well
You're doing surprisingly well dude, but you seriously need to consider printing out references of what you're drawing. Since the Doc is a necromancer, look up as many pictures of skeletons and zombie horror pictures as you can! Your storytelling is spot on bro, but your visuals still look like the stuff you did when you first brought the doc onto void. Print out as many refs as possible and start leveling up your art to match your storytellin'!!
Comparing the staff on the first page with his glowing hand on the second page and it kind of gives the impression you got a weee bit bored with it half way through. But still, this one rides on the dread alone.
That poor girl still hasn't been let out of the tube huh? Aw...
I see Nova! <3
Good work, man, short and sweet, and it left me wanting more. I'm very curious to see what you're cooking up! I adore the little details in the brick and such. You can really see the texture.
I agree with Rabbit Rabbit's critique about Esrella's face and your backgrounds. Your nice backgrounds seem to disappear on the 4th page. It would have been nice if the items weren't floating in empty space.
Keep it up, lets see what's next!
Whoooa... 0_o
He's a little little man with big, big plans, yes?
This is easily your best work yet.
The only things that stuck out at me as really wrong were Esrella's face looks like a potato, and on page 4, all that whitespace really makes me wish there was a background... something for your items to sit on, instead of having them float around oddly like that.
My favorite detail was the up-close view of his eye with the monocle. Creeeepy.
Excellent job, you. :)
