sorry 'bout that rant. rules are rules true enough, its just show some support, and stop the negativity. this is supposed a supportive enviroment, through these battles, to help improve each others style and creativity. i think i grew up a little since high school, so again, i apologize. i still think monday's entry was the best

So Orange is as good as dead, huh? That certainly sucks for us. And right after she became Queen, too. Oh well, in the end, real life comes first, and I bet Yosai is still drawing things. Still, it doesn't do much for this here armageddon. People have lives, that's fair enough, but that sure doesn't change how I'm gonna score their entries. BLuGehtwhatever's and Monday's are the best of the defenders', followed by Ponbiki's and DJ Neko's. As good as (most of) the entries are on their own, they don't really unite that well and made the whole thing a VERY confusing read. Overall, Threat just wins. You can kinda see how Jho was losing steam toward the end, but even that still looked pretty good. It's obvious that this was a phenomenal amount of work (for most), so congrats for finishing, y'all.

In all seriousness though, despite the unfortunate amount of unfinished work, this year's armageddon still managed to be rad as ever. Out of everyone's i leaned more towards monday's entry as the best, the fucking COLORS and his usual way of incorporating great dialogue into his comics made it the best for me.

Woah off your meds chaos? I'm kidding, but chill a little. Rules are Rules, she didn't post 5 pages even though she claimed to have more than 4 (which she does but why she didn't post/upload it I don't know), so it's natural people NOTICE that and called out. Is that so hard to understandddd?

I'm not picking a fight, I'm just wondering how anybody can blow everybody else off like this and then pretend like it's no big deal. That's antagonistic, rude and brutish. But I'll let it rest. Sorry.

I would just like to note that the comments section is not a place to pick a fight. If you have a beef with someone feel free to email them, IM them, or whatever else. This space should be reserved first and foremost for critical analysis of the battles themselves. People should feel free to express their opinion (which includes you, Pong) but let's try to do it in a fashion that is not antagonistic. Let's try to understand that while this is thought of to be an \"epic\" event that people's personal lives should take precedence as they are far more important. We may all get disappointed when someone doesn't deliver to our expectations, but that's what scoring is for. What's done is done, there isn't any changing it, so lets just comment on what is available and not pick on people for what isn't.

Well Lune, if I had made a shit entry, let my fellow team mates down, disappointed my audience - and taken up a spot in an event that could have been filled by somebody who actually would have done something, I'd feel ashamed. But then again I'm not a total ass. You had more than 4 pages? Why aren't they up? Doesn't it bother you that six other people actually put some sort of effort into this on your side - and you pulled this stunt? So you're content to ruin it for everybody else, and not feel ashamed?

First of all, hats off to Toast who had to swallow a hard dose and post the arma despite Yosai's missing entry who , I'm sure, would have turned in an entry , resulting in one of the best defender storyline (as a whole). And of course thanks for making things like void possible. Jho and Kure, I've worked with you as allies then as enemies. And within our time together, you've built up an appreciation inside me mixed with fear and awe unimaginable to no one else but my own. I aimed to take you down. And I wasn't shtting, I had to ,shamelessly, pull off one of the most ambitious routes of attack that would have formidably done so. We, as a team knew this and went into the riskiest undertaking of storyline cohesion and character design that would have surely beaten an open ended double threat unprecented in void. I wont get into details about the design but I knew for sure that the plan asked a lot more out of individual members than what was humanly necessary for those with lives. And you know what ? I was right, and man was I disastroulsly wrong: You were THE THREAT that left no room for error and mistakes and as I can see from the results, we're paying for it dearly. But despite all that, it was a good run, and the hardest 48 hours I went through. I think it's high time that the rest of the team get the words they deserved. Brock , you worked in the shadows and pulled out an 8 page entry that was formidable in delivery and execution. You stuck to plan and went to work. My only regret was the lack of communication that should have went on. IN my eyes , you did exactly what you set out to do , but fragmentations in the storyline resulted, and you were caught telling a punchline to a joke that hadn't been told, and now everyone thinks you're a racist./ metaphorical Good luck with the road of life sir. Lune, we talked much about this and the things to come. Thank you for your work and I'm glad the story went smoothly with your entry. I wish you luck with your works to come , it will be a treat to see you in the professional field where I might get to blackmail you. Neko, hahaha yeah we talked alot about this too, but you know what, Im glad you got a learning experience from this little party (USE PENCILS FROM NOW ON >:D ) hope you're ready for our upcoming battle. But i disgress , you were a big help with planning the story, and that I believe, is where the true teamwork carried us through. Without you this plan would've probably not have a chance and no awesome risks would've been taken. Thank you. Slug!!! what can I say reading your piece over and over again. It had such raw emotion and opened up the feeling to armageddon in such a way that only you could have pulled off. Hats off to you ma'am. At your age, I would've not been able to do half the things you did here and thats where I get inspiration reading this whole piece. Points of foreshadowing in the story were well executed and I'm terribly blinky that they were not put to good use. In fact this whole entry was aesthetically and selflessly executed. Thank you. Avoid beaches. PON ! SWEET FUCKING ACTION , before seeing these pages I had never thought that we were able to decently fight both threats in such a small time. You're the broken butterfly in my ankle holster, the hollow tip grenades in my dashboard. Props to you as well for even thinking up of this crazy idea. This thing called Arma for me to play with. Thank you. MR. ROOOOOBOT! Im glad to have worked alongside you, Jho and Kure said that you were something to truly fear when it came to story. And I believed them ! what resulted was the craziest conceptions and implementations of storyline. And it showed. Its a shame that not everything could have been done. But what can I say; Rice boy just became a lot more awesome as a result :p. Thank you . You awesome bastard. Yosai. Good luck. You were there RIGHT UP TO THE FINAL DAYS YOU WERE THERE. I wish you good luck wherever you are. Personally , this was one of the best teams I've worked with. From the frustrations of the first day planning, right down to the final 24 hour stretch. The cooperation and the energy in this group wa ssomething I've never felt before, giving me renewed hope in working with teams with a common goal. Thank you for reading. I'm always sitting here, waiting for the next set of thoughts whilst dreading the next 8 hour shift as a grocery store bagger.

Jho/Kure: Your part I like best. The story kind of jumped ahead in a couple of places, but it wasn't difficult to put it together so it still flowed coherently. Jinguj your art was kind of inconsistent, but for the most part it was all good. Kure, you did an excellent job - it all looked good, as is usual with your style sometimes things come across looking kind of heavy handed, but overall it was really very consistent and very good looking. The story you two put together was excellent. BSLuGeth: Your are was great, it was also unlike pretty much anybody else's consistent. You did a good job setting up the story and the coloring was fun. DJ Neko: You started out ok, but it looks obvious that you lost steam along the way and kind of slogged through about half of your story very uninspired. Story still got across ok though. Lunaria: You should be ashamed of yourself. Ponbiki: You also started out great, and then kind of went from strength to strength artwise with dull bits in between. The good art was very good. The dull art was very dull. Storywise your part was entertaining, one of the more interesting parts on the defenders side. Mr. Robot: You know how to get points across without wasting a lot of time, or becoming verbose. This is something you do very well. Like most others here, your art was inconsistent and uninspired in some places throughout your comic. IketeruGuy: I was kind of lost at first, concerning the flow of plot here - but you did a good job artwise and were rather most consistent in your quality compared to most of your team mates. Artwise you had one of the better comics here. Monday: Interestingly your art was inconsistent in technique and style but NOT inconsistent in quality. You did a great job with this. Sometimes you tend to become rather verbose and make reading the dialogue tedious - but you stayed smooth enough, and to the point enough here that it was not so much of a problem for me as it has been in some of your earlier efforts. Yosai did not submit, so the story does not reach its ultimate conclusion - b u t - artwise your piece makes a satisfying finale to the defenders effort.

Alright, just to be a little clear , yosai did have a natural disaster, but I'm going to tell you all she is very fine and sound (physically wise, anyway) and around kicking. I have no idea why she doesn't give any info or go online again, even if it's only to say something about her situation\\ but I assure you she is fine since I contacted all my friends, who are also her friends, and relayed me the news quite a bit of time ago. From my friend's encounter, she gathered that she (yosai) is now is having other plans in life, going around indonesia to learn more about the culture SO she might not coming back to void anytime soon. She knows very well (before the flood) about the consenquences of not submitting anything regardless what happens, we both talked about this very extensively and I know her well and long enough (5 summat years) to say that she would accept her defeat in stride, fair and square. There are reasons why she's not online to contact anyone, and I probably have good ideas why, but it is personal and not necessarily important for you guys to know. But FYI, we indos are tough nuts to crack, so yeah. She's fine! hopefully that would clear few things up. thanks for reading everybody. (I'll comment about the comics themselves soon)

Ok. I tried to post this before but it didn't go through for some reason... Anyway Monday kinda asked me for this so here goes... Baron and Sarp Solid story, you really managed to develop the baron nicely, the Baron/Manuel interaction was funny and you conveyed the sense of the fighters desperately working against overwhelming odds really well. On to the art. Kure's pages were good, they have a high contrast style that I'm particularly fond of, the paratrooper page in particular blew me away. My only complaint is that sometimes the crosshatching and shading on some pages were messy and distracting. Jho's pages: Amazingly stylish pages, they really show off your story telling and your abilty to lay out panels. It was however a bit inconsistant. The lines were often sketchy, although you really used the color and tones to give definition to the elements and make them distinct. Some of your pages seemed a bit sparse and incomplete. Overall the threat entry was a really amazing peice of work and you guys should be proud. Defenders side Sluggy: Amazingly stylish pages. This is my second favorite defender entry, your stuff is a joy to look at. I thought the story part was a bit random and could have been done a bit better. But liked how you varied the fonts in a way that reflected the characters that were speaking. You also had some really outstanding panels, the blimp one and the last one were really good. The only real complaints with the art are sometimes the messy coloring doesn't work well, like the first traveler page and the often sparse backgrounds. Neko: You drew the characters well and you also handled a fairly difficult section of the story well. After the 2nd page, the lack of shading really hurt though as well as the seeming incompleteness and weak backgrounds. Lune: Nice faces and expressions. The font thing and the incompleteness hurts though. Ponbiki: Your action stuff is awesome. This entry has some of my favorite arma scenes. If it had been completed it would have been a strong contender for favorite entry. Robot: You showed it with riceboy and you show it again here, you really know how to tell a story. When it comes to telling a clear story your better than Monday. You really developed Traveler... But at the same time there was a pretty solid disconnect from the other entries. Your anatomy and perspective need work and your figures are a bit stiff. This was a nice solid entry. And you get kudos for the Arch Stanton. IketeruGuy: Your lineart and coloring are solid. And you had a complete entry. Unfortunately I found most of your digital effects kinda ugly and annoying. Story wise I found this to be the most boring entry. You may have the most dialog per page of all the entries. Even from the MUTE Acacia. Pio: This is simply my favorite entry. Story wise this is the choice spot, the defenders strike back, and it gets pulled off brilliantly. The action is stunning and the number of cameos really gives you the feeling that its a city wide threat. Like sluggs this is a stylish work of art. At some points the stylishness hurts it sometimes taking away some of the clarity and readability. My major gripe (and it tells you how good the entry was that this is the biggest thing I can complain about) is the blocky left justified text. That works if your impying a robot or some sort of report excerpt, but the hand text later on flows better and is less distracting. And I'm like some other people in believing this default shouldn't count against Yosai. If theres any valid excuse for one its a natural disaster or an act of god. Anyway, I think this is probably the best arma yet I enjoyed reading it you guys.

First of all I'd like to say that I'm impressed with most everyone. Jho and Kure, you guys did a wonderful job overall. I thought that a few spots looked a bit too rushed, but in all honesty you had 50+ pages, I'll give you props just for that. I liked the artistic variety, and selfishly, loved your renditions of Caesar. I will say that I was slightly disappointed to not see more of him as a zombie. At any rate, quality work and a nice flow. Great job. While overall, I think that we Defenders did pretty well, I was a little disappointed with the flow of the story. Organizing something of this scale is crazy hard when you're not collaborating with people in person and the story is so complex. That said, some of our plot line was skipped at various parts which hurt quite a bit. I apologize for my part in that. I was apparently confused as to where exactly my part started and thought that Robo was handling the fight scene on the blimp where every one gets sent back in time by Traveler. That is of course a very crucial scene and I'm sorry if I'm the one who was supposed to do that. Also, sorry for how stiff my pencils were this time, I think the coloring helped out what would have otherwise been a pretty dull entry. Monday, by far, you are the MVP here. JOB WELL DONE! It started a little rough for me, but man, once you hit your stride and the action picked up, you knocked it out of the park. I'll be examining your camera angles for a little while. Great, dynamic work. I'd like my own stuff to be so high energy! Thanks for the awesome work. Also, sorry I didn't get that part with Black into my entry.

The harsh truth is that the defenders' story was told in just half the pages submitted, and the rest were just frayed ends that didn't overlap successfully and retold the same part in different ways, adding to the general mess and confusion. A huge part of that was foggy communication between the defenders and so I'm just as culpable as anyone else for it, but damn, we could have done better. And it was such an excellent story... Threat gets this one, hands down. Kure brought the gore and Jho's excellent cinematic timing made my heart sink. Girl, you've got so much empathy for the characters it's almost like being inside their heads. Also, bias. Due to Acacia living.

I loved these all, but I think Monday's was my favorite. His art was amazing, and the story made (kinda) sense. Great job to Threat, too. Your storytelling aspect was down pat and I'm loving those inks in the beggining. The ouroboros ambiguous ending was cool too. I hope Yosai's okay.

Ah me. I never feel that I am good enough to offer crits or so on, but I did promise I'd try... so meh. I'll give it a 2 cent shot. (Besides, there needs to be more constructive crits and comments in the battles these days.) In a basic sense, I kind of agree a bit with RTV in first impression. With the delays and time, I had thought there would be more... er... finished meat here. But shit happens, people have lives, and what's done is done. Maybe next time, I suppose. Threat: Okay, I was really taken with the flow of the story. I enjoyed Kure's set up a huge amount. The robot butler had me smiling with his reactions. Given the serious nature of the story, that little bit of comedy was nice to have. When we jumped to Jho's pages it threw me a bit. The sketchiness made me have to go back and reread a lot to make sure I was understanding the situations, which took away a bit form the over all read. What was colored was fantastic, per usual with Jho's colors. I was a bit surprised on how the defenders were split up and never actually came together as 'defenders' and were more like... just spotlighted pockets of fighters. It was kind of weird, since technically, the way it was laid out, it could have been ANY of the VOID fighters there. *shrug* Nothing wrong with that, but it was a bit surprising, to me at least. And I did enjoy the flipping of styles as we went along. When we hit Black and Renji's part, I chuckled because the stark black and white made me think of Pio's traditional style. Then hopping back to Kure doing the ending was fantastic. It was a bit of a let down that Acacia didn't really do much at all or Al, for that matter. They sort of felt like they were tacked on at the last moment. And the Traveler died kind of... quickly, too. XD But time constraints suck ass for a reason. All in all, a wonderful threat entry. Truly Armageddon, since you didn't stop at just VOID City... you took out the entire WORLD. Haha Kudos for using the Ouroboros. I adore the symbolic nature of the Ouroboros. If you know what it is, the ending could have several meanings.... truly a nice battle from the two of you. Thank you. Sluggy: Aaah, I do love your style. My first little 'ack' was the massive brightness that fried my poor eyes out after the darker style of Kure. XD And the large tones were a bit odd. Maybe shrunken down they would have felt easier... eh. I'll join the chorus in that it set up everything very nicely and you got the characterizations down very very well. Neko: Mrrrrrr! It was so empty, love. ;_; Honestly, not your best work, but you know that. I do like monologue, since it picked up more where the art didn't. Oh well. :( Lunie: Well, you did say that you just didn't have time. Work and life does that. The sketches look like they would have been wicked. Pity. Pon: Dude, the action was sweet. I'm a fan of a few more words, but that's a personal preference and not a crit. It would have been nice to have the more solid and darker finished lines carry through the entire thing, but as I've said... time's a bitch. Probably my two favorite parts would have to be Black making use of that leg of his and the split snake page. Both were most enjoyable. Mr.Rob: Colored and clean, nice bit there. I enjoyed the joke from Dr.Pye about mind altering drugs, it was a nice moment or two of comedy in the blood, guts, zombies, and snakes. \"It's a trap!\" Love that line... having Epo read the 'bot was a nice touch. Ike: Quality wise, very nice. Story wise... I was confused. It seemed to not fit in with the flow of the rest of the entries, such as they were. And the dialog was a bit on the lacking side as well. I will hand it to you, nice action. I just wonder if it might not have fit better in with the rest of the storyline flow more. Monday: \"ART-GASAM\" That's pretty much the only word I HAVE for this, good sir. You started out with your usual flair and wonderful depth and the moment it hit the digital medium you pretty much destroyed my brain. I mean that in the best way possible, you know. I think the biggest thing with me, that blew every other entry here away, was how you included the ENTIRE FUCKING CITY. I mean, it was just the band of Defenders saving the day... It was the White Jackets(:D), the VCPD(dude, Iri was f'ing rad...), James and Marley(Dude, having the city described that way was the BEST THING EVER) and even Theatre Hazard showing up to back Black up. You made it an entire city event in every possible way, and that, sir, was fucking ACE. I don't know how to really fully express the amount of raw inspiration you installed in those of us that read it this morning. I can honestly say that you have really risen up to become a true motivational figure in VOID. I enjoyed how you spotlighted and gave all of the defenders a spotlight. It wasn't a case of 'It is my turn, so now my character shall save the day....' It was a true group effort with points given to everyone. Hats off, for that. Also... the guitar-gun at the end... was... XD Fantastic. (Having Black put in the emoticons on his text messages was also the cutest thing ever.) Honestly.... this has been one of the best reads in VOID in awhile. >_> <_< *Mutters something about wanting his art-babies* You're unreal these days. Watching you improve in VOID has been so great. I can't wait to see where you go next. :D Yosai: My prayers are with you. I've heard that you made it out of the flooding alright. Hope your personal life settles down and gets straightened out. We miss you here in VOID. Whew. Okay. Sorry this was so long. As I said, I'm not great with the commenting and critting thing. Thanks to all of you who worked hard on Arma. I DO hope that the council will take into consideration the natural disaster that caused yosai to vanish. I don't think it's right for that to doom her character, or kill the defender's scores, since there was, literally, no way to know it was going to happen or to get around such a massive thing as a deadly flood. Best of luck to all.

Hey, seeing this thing finally up made my bed-ridden day a little brighter. I'm pretty pleased at what's turned up on both ends of the fight. Kure/Jho: If you both didn't do equally awesome on this one I would have such a hard time on the voting! When Agent Black entered the stage I was actually confused momentarily as to who drew those pages. I also saw some great collaboration here, but I'd expect no less from the former Defenders. :p I think you guys trumped the Defenders in story overall for having some real meat and emotion to it (though some of the Defenders did pitch in great stories as well). BSluGeth: I thought the heavy tones were a bit distracting, but other than that I like the style. Characterization also really shines through. A pretty nice setup to the tale. DJ Neko: I've seen better from you, but it's cool that you went all out on the page count on this one. I'll definitely have to complain about the minimalism of scene-setting though, the monologue seemed to tell much more story than the art here. It was pretty coherent for all the stuff you set up though, evidence of good collab. Luniara: Pretty neat renditions of the defenders, there. Better luck next time! Ponbiki: Your sense of action blows me away, as always. A few scenes were a little tricky to follow because of the pacing, but considering your tradition of using as few words as possible, it's still quite something. Mr. Robot: Short but sweet. Fantastic storytelling, and the faint image of Estrella was a really nice touch. IketeruGuy: You managed to sustain good quality work throughout, even with all the action segments (I notice that when someone chokes it tends to be while trying to finish up their 'fight scene'). Script felt a little cheesy at times, and yet at the same time quite entertaining. Monday: You did it AGAIN. ... ... Good job. Yosai: I pray that you still live.

First of all, congratulations to everyone! I liked a lot of both stories scripts, and specially the defenders ones, but that should be obvious since 8 heads > 2 =P. Jho and Kure: Awesomeness and honeygold. I liked a lot the development of the story, and even though quick, the defenders killings were very well designed. I only found that both Epo and Agen Black's deaths, which were strange.. Epo's because Lune and Ceaser did nothing, even though they appeared in the story like, rocking. And Agent Black because it's strange to see a suicide coming from him in that crazyed fashion =P But maybe I'm wrong. Slug: what can I say, your is one of the parts I liked most, even though the first 2 pages was a bit away from \"the thing\". God colors! Neko: It's mostly nice, great lines. Only complaint here is the Baron's story whcih was a bit confusing to interprete. Luniara: The sketches rawked. You should finish those sometime, someday. ponbiki: I spcially liked the in-moviment panels, like those of albertor getting bigger. That slashed snake panel was really cool too. mr.robot: Only thing wrong here is that it told little about the story script. Still great anyways. iketeruguy: The art is real good here, but I think that you describe too much =P I mean, you took like 2 pages in \"random fighting\", with the guys kick here and nowhere while talking. Art-wise, I felt a lack of impact in the moves.. I found a bit hard to tell if the Baron was dodging or being hit by Ceaser in their fight pages. Also happens in other panels in the same fight, like the one Baron is kicking on him, which looks like he's walking over him. Also it seemed a bit disconected from Traveller's part. Monday: Lack of words here, except that I took forever to read your part due to the pages filesize+amount of them. The guitar was THE weapon. I also liked the James cameo. My brother found some of the panels confusing. He is not used to Hiroaki Samura, I guess. Generally speaking, I think everyone who has finished their work really outdone themselves, real topnotch works. I had great fun reading those. Plus it was better connected in the between parts, unlike the previous ones.

OK, I'll try to do this. Most of these will be praise, since I can't find much wrong with them at all. This battle was fucking epic. I thought maybe the baron was a little too easy to kill. Jho/Kure: Wow. Just wow, that was amazing stuff, it's good to see you guys working together, I thought you pulled it off real well. Great work. It was pretty easy to tell what was going on, and it was interesting to see how the Baron started this whole thing. BSLuGeth: Great work, I really love the way you used the colors. It's surreal, and I like it. Good stuff, although there wasn't a whole lot of development 'cause you only had 10 pages. Still, good stuff. DJ Neko: Wonderful inks there. They were pretty clean, or maybe I'm comparing them to others in this fight. It could use some color, but still good. You have some heavy storyline in there, and that's good to see. Sometimes, though, I was like \"Uhhh...what?\" But it still flowed together in the end. Lune: Yeah, I really can't say much. It looks like you might have been pressed for time. Still, you're great, and you know that. You don't need some n00b telling you that you are. :D Ponbiki: Great action from the start. I think it's just what the battle needed. Awesome work. Mr. robot: Your storytelling reminds me a lot of Yosai, in some ways. I've liked your stuff ever since I first saw it. I don't have much to say. You put up good stuff. IketeruGuy: I'm a little lost, but you had good action stuff. Monday: Ho-lee FUCK! Man. OK, maybe I've just loved your stuff ever since I saw it, but DAY-UMM! I think you did the best job ever here, especially with setting the atmosphere and the mood overall. Way to go man. I'm super-impressed. The end was awesome. The best panel ever was when you showed the water that lune dumped into the city. Fucking rad. It was perfect. Like a movie in my mind. Yosai: I hope you're OK and haven't been flooded. I was really, really looking forward to your contribution. I hope you're OK, and that you'll put something up in a byond battle or something, 'cause you rock, and we could use a further ending.

Excellent work, i adored Jho and Kures half and wish them the best of luck, i had a bit of trouble following the defenders half, but it was still excellent, Neko, Pon and Monday were my favourites, Monday especially, i think this is my second favourite monday battles (Black vs James being 1st). Great work by everyone, though when i saw this had gone up i thought it meant Yosai was back :( sadly that isn't the case, my thoughts go out to her and her family during the rebuilding of Jakarta and hope that everyone over there pulls through it alright. *goes to vote.*

Wow...it was certainly a pleasure to finally read this. Thanks both to the people who drew this and the admins who worked to get it up. It's tough when every artist is better than me, but I'll do my best to give crits. You guys definitely deserve it. Kure - Wow. Your pages were good. The art just keeps getting better, and you seem to have developed a strong voice for both the Baron and Manuel. The pacing was good, too...the story flowed smoothly and I always understood what was going on. However, I think you would benefit from either typing your text or being more careful when you do it by hand. I had to reread in a couple places, either because of grammar/spelling mistakes, or because words were too close together. Jho - Like Kure, your work really was entertaining. Your art was a little sketchy, but because of the number of pages you cranked out, this is totally understandable. I sometimes had trouble following the story, though. For example, how exactly did Caesar, Epo and Lune end up together? I'm not sure if this is because of the loose art or pacing being too fast...probably a combination of the two. BSLuGeth - Your coloring was nice, and really got the atmosphere of different settings across. I'm struggling to find something to crit, since you have one of the most consistant entries. Great job (heh...kind of a theme going on). DJ Neko - I liked your writing here. Epo's monologue added a lot to the atmosphere of your part. However, I think it would have been better to have had fewer pages that were more finished. I understand that you had a fairly large section of the story to cover, but in my opinion if you cut it down some, your quality would have benefitted. Lune - Too bad you only had time for 4 pages, but they were well done. I'd rather have that than 10 skethy pages where you have no idea what is happening. Ponbiki - Good job to the defenders for giving ponbiki lots of action...he executed really well on that. The sense of motion and action you get is great. I was confused in some parts, though, like around the middle when the fox (?) shows up. Mr. Robot - Kudos for having a finished, colored entry. Another real pleasure to read. Your development of Traveler's story was interesting, and your story is easy to follow (as I've mentioned, not a given for some entries). IketeruGuy - The jump between Mr. Robot's story and yours isn't very clear, but I'm not sure whose fault that is. Another finished entry, and good action to boot. Well done. Monday - Your entry was the best. Hands down. I don't know what else to say...it was a quality read. I gave the highest score to a defender, but the threat scored high, too. If the defenders' score is an average of every individual defender, (which I think is the case) I worry that the defenders' (otherwise good) chances are affected by Yosai's default?

I think Arma04 & 05 were better. Most of the Defender's side look like they drew the thing within the last week. most of the time i had to decipher what was going on and wich character was who. Monday i like your explosions and the team up with Orange. Iketeru, welcome back. Great colouring, dialogue and action Pon, i love the in-your-face stuff. That snake cut in half was the shit. Slug, awesome classic colour scheme. Robo, you're a great storyteller. Excellent pacing and picking up where you left. Kure, i adore the gritty ass darkness you got going there. as for the rest of the Defenders, 8 weeks plus Void's downtime was plenty for you to finish, clean-up or dropout. i'll give a more extensive review when i read it again.

Major kudos to Jho/Kure and Monday... those both made for astounding reads. Everyone did quite amazing, although it's sad that some people didn't get time to finish or had other issues (such as Orange). My apologies to them. That was the most amazing epicness I've ever seen. I think it's been my favorite Armageddon to read so far. It was just... spectacular. I just don't know what all to say. I know my opinion doesn't count for much, since I've yet to actually do much here, but really guys. That was superb.
