Aribooboo, I second what Dave's grandpappy Sephus said. The structure on a lot of your characters and backgrounds seems a little off, I'd suggest more life drawing. THe story kind of annoyed me, I generally hate zany anime characters, but we never found out why ther laser was real or why michael jackson was there, it just seemed like an excercise in "what craziness can I come up with next." The backgrounds seemed like they were lazily done. They isnt really a middleground or foreground anywhere and you seem to just put in glowing lights to distract away from using any kind of perspective drawing. Squid, this would be really cool if it was finished... I am going to cut myself now.

aribooboo-I feel like your comic is a little dark but I think it's also the monitor I'm on right now since I'm critting this from my mom's computer and the colors had looked fine on my monitor at home. I think the story was cute but this probably could have been a little shorter and still gotten the point across. But still, it was good that your quality stayed fairly consistent all the way through. Now one thing that I have noticed in most of your comics is you tend to do a lot of really wide panels. Which would be fine but they tend to be a little empty compositionally. So if you want to continue doing a lot of wide panels go for it, but make sure to make them not feel so empty. Really the only thing that bothered me was the whole Michael Jackson thing because I'm not a fan of photos being used out of nowhere in a traditional battle. Other than that it was a pretty good and fun battle. Squidman-Oh Squid, why you gotta break my heart like that. When I saw you didn't finish a single tear rolled down my cheek. What you had was extremely strong and your lineart is always a joy to look at. I didn't have any problems understanding what was going on. Really the only thing I didn't like was the hand writing occasionally got a little sloppy but it was still legible.

I'm working on a BB right now while I'm waiting for my battle with Corny cuz I can't sit still knowing I did a shitty job XD I'm making sure that I keep it much more simple.

I understood Squidman winning personally. It may have been unfinished, but it made me laugh and I understood it. Aribooboo, I didn't have a clue what was going on through most of yours, and by the time Michael Jackson showed up I didn't really care to. I know it was supposed to be an arcade, but the colour scheme was painful. The star field thing on the walls must have been an after thought as it never extends behind scenery or people (and in some cases it overlaps on to people's hands), and always seems to be the same distance away. The flat screenshots pasted on to the game machines would have only taken a second to fix, I don't know why they weren't.

nice battle guys~ @aribooboo: I like you coloring it's gotten pretty good and your anatomy seems to be improving as well, but yeah, there's still more room for even more improvement on that. I enjoyed the expressions and such. I didn't really get why Micheal Jackson was there of all places, but it still made me laugh. XD I suggest working on perspective though; on page 10 panel 6 Ben looks really tiny and so does the ice cream truck in comparison to the sidewalk it's near. another thing I'd like to see you work on a bit is your line work, it looks really pixely in some areas and can be distracting. Nice job with this comic though. @SQUIDWOMAN: I liked story you had going on here. it was very cool in my opinion and I wasn't too confused as to what was going on so far :0 You had some really nice quality, I loved the inks; they're so pretty ;-; The only thing I really recommend you have more of in your comics would be more camera angles that are in a worm's eye view. I thought your entry was still pretty nice though, even while incomplete. :3

I think Squid's is only confusing because it's unfinished, it's like "I'm gonna tell you a story" then half way through "my story doesn't make sense, nevermind" - I don't really know if it would have made more sense if you had finished though, I'm just assuming it would. Ahaha... what? I think I'm with ya, Pong... Aribooboo: The colors were nice, but the story was so all over the place it had a hard time keeping my interest, and then I forgot most of what happened. If the lazer was real and hurting people... why'd Marcelo want to shoot the guards? Your figures are looking pretty stiff there, champ. Maybe try using rough stick and ball drawings of your character's full body movements to get the feeling of fallow through when they jump, or swing an arm. You anatomy is pretty good, but there is no flow with movement. You know me, I love fun exaggerated expressions, and you had plenty here! I would just suggest you slow down drawing them a bit, most of the large mouths seemed rushed with blocky lines and just maroon inside and end up being pretty uninteresting. More detail would be nice, teeth and tongues. I love to see the young artists on the site, you kids make me feel so old, and like throwing in the art towel with how quickly you improve and how talented you are. Squid: ah Squid, one of the few artists on void I want to hunt down, kidnap my hide in my basement... <3 you better finish this, I was loving it so much! I love when you switch your style up and draw Ben in a whole new way! First the Beatrix Potter and now this funky Aztec style! Keep it up.
