Hey thanks for the comments and critiques. I know i blew the backgrounds gave them up for the character inks, but they'll be there for the BB. Good Job V, you definately had me chuckling... I loved your story, it was definately nice to see how you handled my charater and It was awsome. s'funny but the fight scene in my comic has some simaralities as yours. I wont change it so you can see --- God I wish i would have finished this but aww well i lost about twelve days of drawing due to an unexpected personal issue -- i wont ever let that happen again. anyway's thanks to all and apologies for dissappointing some with my stuff. but look for the finished story next week.

Double R- Great lines, I gotta admit I'm really looking forward to see how your story turn out. I can't give you a terrible amount of points cause it was unfinished tho. But great first effort, and hell, you did a better showing than I did so congrats on that. V- Your panels are real appealing, I especially like the off tilt scene in the narrow alley on page 3. I dig it and I dig it hard. Idunno mabe I'm just an overall fan of grit and grime and your rough lines and colors just feel like they belong what with the roach and the slicing blood and all that. Excellent first showing.

thanks for the advice so far:) I know my backgrounds look kind of gritty :( and I kind of did it onpurpose, but noticed it was a little TOO gritty after i turned it in. Alberto I LOVE your comic though :P The faces they make are awesome and expressive! Great job!

@alberto311: Nice job for your first battle. I would've liked to see some backgrounds from you. Many of the panels were very bland with the white backdrop. I liked your line art and attention to detail, but the story didn't hook me. It might be the fact that you didn't have the time to finish, but I hope to see better of you next time. @V: I really liked your comic, I was shocked you were able to do it in only two weeks. The pace was very nice, and I laughed quite a bit at that poor guy. She's very creepy, which is good. We need more creepy people. I think you overpowered Rebel Roach a little, but that's something you can work on. Please try to stray away from white boxes for text bubbles. It looks very unprofessional, and it's something you can work on in the future. But very nice battles you too.

Alberto: Shame you didn't get this one finished, but at the same time what you had left over ended pretty smoothly without any major open ends. I like your linework on account you pay attention to even the smallest details. The story in itself was alright, but hell it's a start and you worked well with it. The opening shot of the fair was awesome, and again you handled the details nicely. My only point outs are the major lackage of backgrounds after page 1. Otherwise, can't wait to see your BB! V: Dude....Cydney creeps my ass off, and when I say that I mean this out of respect and awe. ( Cydney's fangy grin actually made me shudder the first time. ) Your pacing was excellent, with little to no pauses in between action sequences. The only thing is the colored pencil lines were all over the place, making the backgrounds rushed and gritty looking. The contrast also seems a bit high, like the colors/color pencil details were 'eaten'. I hope...that made sense? Good firsties you two!
