Jingles - Very fucking awesome. Seriously funny, and kept me reading. Your girls need some work =P but otherwise I think you did a great job. Good color choices too! Powers - Quality isn't bad, but the dialog wasn't on the top of my list. It was kind of contrived, but still a very solid entry. Jingles got the vote from me. That was a really fun read

dawg you r stuff was on par, and amusing, i rated it pretty well. Power though im really liking this work, although your basics /anatomy form consistency etc need work. Your stroy telling is pretty good you choose excitiung expressive shots, good flow of story and usually fairly easy to follow. The story grabbed me more, and yeah i dont agree with six, i dont think the npc should have been built up, until that point he was supposed to be a nameless smuck, when the girl comes is the real showing that he is more than a random dude. The only thing i might say is it did seem simewhat drastic, to kill merely cause some one called him a name. but still felt entertaining. nice both of ya

Powerz-dude if you can make a comic that looks like the last panel of page 4 I will be in heaven. It was nice to see you being a bit more experimental but I think the change in character could have been a little more gradual. Hugo is usually such a carefree character it was really bizarre seeing him get serious all of a sudden. I think it would be more effective if you gradually show hints of a serious character in upcoming battles and then wam have something like this. I think the story would have come off a lot more serious and not cheesy had you built up to this with previous battles. Still, I was very impressed with how much you've improved artwise and you did a nice job. Dawg-oh man where to begin. If I could get a Jingles comic every day for the rest of my life I probably wouldn't be on anti depressants. I really like your style, it's nice to see that you're not sticking with a specific formula style wise and you're not afraid to mix it up. The Team Rocket thing was amazing. I gave you slightly higher marks than Powerz because skill wise you guys are neck and neck, but entertainment wise you blew me away.

wow, this was really hard one to judge. Dawg youre a glorious bastard, i loved the batman and pokemon references, they made me smile. Powerz i liked the serious of this comic compaired to your others and the intense black and white bit was uber cool. I gave you both the same marks ;)

Dawg, it was probably one of the best examples of art to date, but the story seemed way damn lazy to me. Ripped from Batman? Pokemon? Sorry, I didn't feel this one. :( Powerz, solid work, I was impressed by your story, it definitely showed a side of Hugo that I didn't expect. Not too much to crit, although your faces tend to warp a bit at the 3/4 view, especially the first page. Votes to you.

Dawg: Fucking hilarious. I actually laughed out loud a few times, especially at my cameo and the Team Rocket song. Your art's also going from crappy to charmingly stylish, so you're getting better. I gave you the higher grade! Powerz: Mate, no offense, but corny doesn't begin to cover this. You pulled a me: improved art with a cheeeesy storyline. The main problem: You had a good idea; the core idea of the story would've worked. But the guy you killed (or seriously injured), wasn't built up enough. I didn't hate or love or have any feelings towards the guy. He got fucked over hardcore, but I didn't feel sorry for him. You need to build up on NPCs just as much as a main character if you're going to try and get an emotion out of people with them. The flashback was good, but it was muddy and I wasn't sure who was stabbing who and it was difficult to tell from where the adult orc came. So just keep working on serious battles and better luck next time! (art's a big improvement, though)

hahaha, oh god, Jingles. That was beautiful. The little Team Rocket/VCPD anthem was pretty boss. Chip and Iri should totally say that before every fight. It would make them that much cooler. And Powerz, man, that was good stuff. Completely different style and tone, but equally entertaining. It was nice to learn a little bit more about Hugo's past. Can't wait for your next fight.
