God... this was so close... in the end I had to go a little more with Paolo... It was just there for me.

this was so hard to vote on. they were both so legendarily awesome. the only thing was a slight edge on quality for paolo. very slight.

Oh man, you both...two... of you... so awesome. Entirely too awesome. I loved the art and the creativity in each battle equally. XD But Mecid gets a little extra boost in entertainment coz hers was just that much longer- and it held up it's length. <3's all around!

Ooooo love both of your styles! mecid-I love your linework! You also do a great job on drawing characters. Backgrounds however could use a little work, I just want to see the amount of detail you put into your characters put into the background. It's kind of weird in some panels seeing your character being all detailed and nicely shaded against a plain flat background. Dim-I really enjoyed how you constantly changed your style and colors to set the mood, it really made the panels come to life. Your timing with the Peewee References was especially good since Adult Swim has started playing it hehe There's not much I can see right away that doesn't look right aside from maybe the first page being a little weak compared to the others. It seems like there wasn't as much detail and such on the first page

Just to clarify, Paolo doesn't have a disturbing J.J. fixation...or, well, he /does/, sort of. He's just the sort of guy who likes his sandwiches served in a particular way. haha

both battles made my morning after headache, I love it. Mecid your dialogues and concept is awesome, it was so cleverly funny I just can't stop reading it. That was lovely lovely awesome. The character interaction and your take on your opponent was very amusing.. and your word choices were perfect. The last page made me laugh, the best closure ever. Love. <3 Dimm: I love your drawings and you know it, it's so stylish and in this case.. so.. disturbingly colorful and awesome. The story is freaking funny as well (peewee oh god, and oh my I never thought Paolo think of j.j that way ;D and how -evil- paolo is) I just love how simple but finished your stories are. It's rare these days. This was tough, but my vote (on entertainment) goes to Mecid. but believe me, both of your battles are very entertaining and I loved every second reading both. I really want to see more of your battles, and if you two ever battled again, It'll be my greatest joy.

Great battle guys :) Dim: I think your art work and colouring looked very sharp and finished off :) and the idea of PeeWee's Playhouse and that wish making head thing was pretty creative and fairly entertaining. Mecid: Your character really grew on me XD I never knew he was so tall (i.e. panel of him hovering over Paolo :P). I found your story reallie entertaining and creative :) I especially liked your portrayal of Paolo haha

Mecid: Holy glass shards, Batman! You have this in the BAG, d00d. Very good concept, great quality, and it was one of the most enteraining battles I've ever read. I absolutely loved it. And the phone conversation with Oz = freaking priceless. Do I hear wedding bells? No, wait, that's just the battery warning on my laptop. *smashes computer with fist* Dim: Great battle you had there. Most original thing I've seen for a while, and it had great art and entertainment. Plus, the Peewee Herman cheap shot was awesome. YAY FOR PUPPET LAND!

I had a really fun time working on this battle...maybe even too much fun...but I guess the point is that I really enjoyed myself and I am in love with Nowhere Boy in a way that may or may not be strictly platonic. haha

mecid - holy crap that kicked ass 8< i didn't even realize it was 10 pages....it was over so fast ToT i didn't want it to end. and i actually laughed. that almost never happens when reading a comic. great stuff, my votes go to you 83 dim-amentia - you're fight was so cute, and the little j-jet at the end was adorable X3 but i gotta say.... a comic with peewee in it was one of the last things i was expecting. i really enjoyed both, great job you two!

Dear god you guys can kick my ass at this anyday. Mecid- That shit was downright 9llarious ! The art was clean the visual ironies, and a wonky poses here and there but nevertheless pacing was off the charts here. I carried this read all the way through. Your jokes carried a well executed mechanic using native references with a family guy tone to it. Quality gets a substantial high for visual quality but some inconsistent anatomy Creativity gets a high for clever use of cameo, and bringing out Both the characters in full play here. And Entertainment is off the charts. Good deal Mecid. Dim - Your entry is also winning, while Mecid's jokes were native , your shit was from another planet altogether. Character useage wasn't going on full power here however.While Paolo's infatuation with JJ is interesting, NB's role was a tad watered down. Bbut the eye candy, the random violence, and Peewee Herman fucking took it to the playhouse. In the end this could very well be a tie but not in the same strengths.

H'okay. I just finished uploading my half of the battle. Unfortunately, I'll be going on vacation this Friday, and won't have access to a computer again until the 13th. :( Boo...saaaad. I tried inking this one digitally (with the exception of the second page, which was drawn by hand during a power outage. haha), and I kind like how it turned out. Always fun to experiment.
