Sorry bout that Rax, didn't realize he was that lighthearted. Though granted, I didn't really give him the chance to be either, haha. Its cool man, I know how these things go. Yeah, I feel bad for Viper most ofall. He lreally deserved better than the poo I squeezed out. I didn't know Jones could speak. o_O. I'll make it up to you on the regular battlefield one of these days, Viper. Good show on your side anyways. You made BlueJay a bit too serious, but maybe thats my bad for not explaining he really has a light personality. Still it didnt detract from your comic as a whole. Thumbs up all the way.

It looks like people got most everything, so good fight to the two of you. Viper, solid entry, I would have liked to see more backgrounds and shading, but it's just a week, so I understand. Good work, I can see you winning this whole thing with quality like that. Rax, a bit of a let down, but still very funny. Those time constraints can do you in. My suggestion would be not to do too much with short deadlines. Close fight, on to the next round!

Viper- Great work… the only crit I can offer is that page six is a little weak following right behind what you did with the shark on page five. It would have helped to know exactly what was happening… was the shark just jumping up and catching him or was it flying after him… It simply wasn’t clear and is visually lest interesting after seeing page five. But over all really great battle… I loved it. Rax- Three main things jumped out at me… first the line work just wasn’t carrying the story. You need to work on varying up the line quality/weight. Also the unfinished pages resulted in a weak ending. Second the dialogue just didn’t do much for me personally. It started off ok but quickly fell into a lot of foul language which just didn’t seem to match up with the character. I don’t personally mind cussing in a story.. but it just didn’t mess with the character’s look and feel.

SHARK is the best sound effect ever.

Viper, Good job, the vibrant colors were a plus, and it was quick and to the point. The only thing I really I have as a complaint is the colors could have been a little cleaner. Rax, funny battle. I really liked some of the things you had going there. The simpleness of it was cool to because it made it seem more cartoony (I'm not sure you were going for that but to me it was a plus) like the old superhero cartoons like Space Ghost and Birdman. YOu coild have added a little detail in some of the backgrounds (and some color wouldn't have hurt)

great job both of you, but barnacle is just that much better.

jones got my vote on this one. its a complete fight. nice job on coloring and rendition of bluejay. jay well the line work looks nice but it really didn't follow through. it was enterntaining for a the first 3 pages but kinda fizzled out at the end. and i wanted to see it blue jay in color. since the design sheet lloks sooo nice. awesome job the both of yous

Rax, I'm sad you didn't complete this entry. I was chuckling to myself. It was great and got some good marks, except for quality...I'm sure you understand. Viper, good entry. The art wasn't your best, but sacrifices must be made for the deadline of course. I liked what you did overall and you get my nod.
