Yeah, i'll second to what Tainted Lotus said! Great layouts for both entries! Both had their own distince humor. Extremely drool-worhty art from both of you! JINGUJ: Paolo emerging out of the shadows on page 1... bloody amazing. Some credit must go to Dim's striking character design too. The character interactions were wonderful! Overall great writing (i especially liked how the intro played out). Somehow i didnt completely buy that ending on the last page. Kudos on the coloring experimentations! DIM-AMENTIA: I adore your art style! Very polished and pro! Perfect for humour comics. Your story started off extrememly promising! But too much focus on the gingerbread man i thought. Sorely lacked a proper satisfying punchy ending. Dont get me wrong, i LOVE anti-climaxes... but a climax by definition is a crescendo/peak... ergo an anti-climax being an extreme dip/drop. Your ending did neither and was rather lacklustre. Even for random-sake. I give this one to Jaffar.

Okay okay okay. Dim... Your fight was hilarious. I was laughing basically every page. The ending was anticlimactic in a Bob the Angry Flower sort of way, which is funny, but I gave you one point less than Jingu on Entertainment for a less complete story. Jingu, I can't get over your rendition of Paolo glowing in the dark. The coloring in this blew me away, but the sketchy lineart meant I couldn't give you an A in Quality. I did really like J.J's molten stump, too. Clever story, but I wish you hadn't resorted to a text-only \"explanation\" panel. I still liked the way your story played out, especially with the layered style of revealing information. Top marks in Creativity on both sides. B+'s for Quality. Jingu took home a B+ for Entertainment, while Dim got a B. In other words, a really, really close fight. I hope you two square off again!

WOW both of these were so awesome. Seriously, these are the perfect comics to start your day with. Its like a breath of fresh air =P MORE MORE!!!!

Johnny, please tell me you plan on making a fighter sometime in the near future. I would totally make sure to have Paolo molest them in a completely manly way.

Hey you two- Super nice work. JJ: I was blown away by the first two pages. After that, it got a lot sketchier, but I love the color themes you went through. Gave it a nice artsy feel, which is appropriate. As for the writing, very nicely done, I always love the way you resolve battles without actually fighting. And the stump of the arm was really gross. :O Cait: As always, I am your number one fan. Your characters' mannerisms were great, and both your art and writing bring out all the little quirks one would expect to find. Also, the 'Teamwork!' page totally made me visualize a montage with really corny pump-up music playing. Great job. I rated you both very high (even though it was overdue for like a week and I had to check every day), and I think this was a great match for two combatants who both loathe combat. -Johnny

yeah I was trying a new style (and by god I hated it because I have to color every single line, NEVER AGAIN) but I donttt think it worked out very well (some parts are just too weird), I think next time I'll stick to b/w - li'l tones. thanks for the crits, it helps alot :D

Im a big JJ fan but i gave my votes to Dim here on Entertainment, the story was clear and had me smiling all the way thru it. Jinju your battle got abit ocnfusing in places and the quality slipped slightly form your last fights. It was still an enjoyable read though Good job both of you

Oooh, so good on both ends XD I think JJ and Paolo are both awesome characters and they do interact well, both being sort of weird outcast types and such. Anywho... I don't feel qualified to find any faults with your battles... mainly cause I can't find any ^_^''' So here: Jinju, I liked your story, and your style (yay rocket, ahahaha!) You've got some really neat panel layouts and overlaps. So yeah. Good job! Dim, you made a nice entry for having to study for APs O_O that's tough stuff! But even with the crunch I'm impressed that the only part that looks unfinished are the last two panels. Yowzers. I love the cleanness of your tones and your lines. Do you go through many pens, inking in Paolo? Or is it all computered? Awesome battle, it was a fun read all around. Good luck to both of you!
