Wow... I really REALLY do not know what to do. I agree that both had fan-TAS-tic artwork... but when you battle another character... isn't there supposed to be a majority of the pages dedicated to both characters fighting/talking/humping/having tea/discussin globallization/playing video games/humping (did I mention that already?) ... I just loved the art, but they were more story than confrontation. What to do what to do?

KING PONG: Lovely penmenship! Those first 4 pages are flawless! And i love how u kinda played it straight for the most part of it. The subtle arcade references are excellent (button, gearstick/joystick, cardoor handle/pinball flipper(?), submarine/Pacman...)! My only cripe wud be the overall pacing of the whole thing. The first 4 pages had a great momentum to it. The last 2 pages just seemed abrupt (the last page just being plain random to me). But, this, is easily you're best work! Well-executed! King Pong's A-Game. MONDAY: Havent been around to see ur latest works dude. But THIS is a huge improvement from what i last saw of yours. Ur usual plot density is somewhat compromised for visual clarity. But it has obviously payed off (the extremely positive art comments). But this also had a more light & fun tone using the left-brain-hemisphere-damage plot device (im a sucker for psychology, even the pseudo kind!) to allow all kinds of quasi-reality furry-maiming mayhem. The real-life pong match with GVSR at the end is great (over-the-top Shaolin Soccer-style attacks!). Agent Black still my fave character. Both entries were of the highest callibre, no doubt. My main negative criticism with both is that there was little of GVSR (both entries eventually had the actual battle between the 2 characters in the last page). Nevertheless, both entries scored extremely highly in my books. Keep up the standard.

King_Pong: Your battle was... confusing. I know that random ass stuff is your forte, but this just felt like a lot of things loosely strung together. That said, it was funny at parts and looked alright, though it felt messier than usual to me. And it wasn't finished, either. Monday: This is the most comprehensible battle I've seen from you yet, and I really hope you keep it that way. I could actually tell what was going on in every panel, and you were able to keep in the plot and random bits of humor. And mad props for making GVSR's blocks uber-destructive.

I must laud your effort Monday. You pulled out nice piece of work this time. This is probably the least contrived and most easily enjoyable fight I have yet seen you submit, both artistically and story wise. I read and reread each of your previous battles, and this one simply has a much more natural look to it, less stiff poses and postures, more relaxed all around. Further it's probably the easiest to read and understand that you've yet drawn, with a good dose of humour. I feel as though my own comic's humour was bit too subtle - I was seriously thinking about including footnotes on each page explaining the jokes and references - but mostly because I thought the idea of footnotes in a comic was hilarious.

I have to agree with Pi....I think that brought a tear to my eye.

That was.... beautiful. I can't even crit this, I can't see anything wrong with either right now. Gimme some time to cool off, and I'll take another look.
