Black is fricken..... AWESOME!!!!!!!! The dudes sorta lke the character I'm gonna make. Except mines gonna be a priest with an over zealous faith in God to the point where he puts a bullet through there head if they dont repent and even when they do he says there sins are to great to leave unpunished so he kills 'em. But that is a pretty rare scenario, so... yeah.... I feel like taco's.... *leaves to get tacos*

o__O I really have to check the Battle section more. Monday: How many pages did you say?! It was quite entertaining, but I found myself to be questioning what was actually happening more than once. The art's a little messy in some places, but that's just fine with me. I also like how you interpretded Hobbes' past. Hobbes: No offence the Monday, but this was MUCH easier to follow. It looked liek the proportions were eversoslightly off in some places, but not so much to make a huge impact. The last couple of pages especially made me laugh. Your art looks a lot cleaner, and although I did get confused a couple of times, it was still fairly easy to follow. Overall though, my vote's gotta go to Hobbes.

Well its about closing time Id like to thank everyone who voted on this fight and struggled to put up with my lengthy submission. I have learned that maybe 25 pages seemed overkill for a very wordy comic like this one- and should only exceed such a page count ONLY with a sizeable serving of action and actual combat dynamic. While I thought this had plenty of that I can see there is still much more balance to improve on. And Hobbes your efforts were admirable and I can see how much work you tried to put into drawing Black using my various interperetations of him which made yours stick out. I had fun with your character's dynamic and you molded him out well enough for me to really do things with it not to mention the lovely cast of characters Hobbe's story, I hope I started you off the right direction and should hope that this could bring about some interesting things from you in the near future. Thanks to everyone who had ANYTHING to say about this piece, as I found this to be a critical prototype in a progressing storytelling style. And last but not least, a salute to wei for putting up with my stuff the most. I can tell from the thumbnails that you probably thought this was a sick joke on my part. Wow...um, Monday...clutter any? Your story was good but waaaaaay too long and you need some serious layout work. I found it engaging but very hard to follow. The actual art was great if a little messy. I suppose that contributes some to the noir look. Hobbes, you had a more creative story and good execution. I'd say it followed what a regular Void City battle should be. You need to do some art tweaks, though...I found a lot of your stuff to be mildly out of proportion (but not so much as to throw your art off). Also, watch your spelling (I swear I'm a spelling and grammar nazi).

Wow, you both did very nice comics here... Hobbes' artist has a very good feel for motion, perspective, and body, and I bow to you for it. Mr. Black's comic was very confusing in a lot of respects... I think the biggest thing that would help would be to enlarge your gutters (space between frames) and try to make each frame a little tighter (I mean to say, there is so much splatter-like black all over its hard to register what is going on, although the art is definitely good). Either way, I enjoyed both, keep it up guys!

The most unexpected twist about this battle is that I understood Monday's comic more than his opponent's. Monday, your art seems to be heading in a new direction, and not a bad one at that. Things seem more balanced than they did in your first comics here. Hobbes, your art seemed ungainly and awkward in places. The bland backgrounds didn't help much either. Monday, your comic was entertaining, AND comprehensible (more or less) certainly moreso than earlier works. Hobbes, There were bits and pieces that were entertaining, but it seemed as though the whole was worth less than the sum of it's parts. Anyway that's just my worthless opinion.

The is one of the best fights I've seen from monday. It seemed... more coherent. Hobbes on the otherhand, this seems tremendously lazy. I saw people ranting in the comments about how good this was, and I look, and am not impressed. This seems like a blank sketchy unfinished comic that's basically a generic fight. You know how many plain old fights we have? Probably like a million. How are you getting the scores that you have right now? This looks really unfinished.

HOBBES! Why didn't you do this kind of work for the Battle Royalle??? GAH! So cool! Some spelling errors here and there, but a better entry than your B.R. by FAAAR. The ending was funny but not forced in my opinion. I liked it. Monday, wonderful work as always. Your drama in this one goes on just long enough for me to stay interested. And I agree about your art in that it is getting easier to read. You're so good at explosions... and at drawing guns... I'm very jealous of that. Stunning entry from both of you. It's really hard to decide between the two. Well done.

wow. black: thank for a truly inspiring fight, this is really impressive,i gave it my all, and am truly pleased to see you did as well, if you win this one, i will be honored to have lost to such a fine fighter. end mushy stuff. just want you to know how impressed i am. but yeah, i think this si a definate improvement on your privious fights, the story flowed a lot more cohesivly, or at least it seemed that way to me. i liked it, storytelling = good. plus you wrote my fighter really well, nothing wrong there. that bit about \"no killing intent\" and \"an appriciation for life i will never know\" fantastic! your lines are a lot cleaner this time too, great job. Pi, thanks for the comment about poses. sometimes i just can't get the anatomy right or just plain go over the top. i'll try and tighten that up next time. Monday: It's a good read. Read it thrice. You really braught Hobbes to life, but it was disturbingly pleasent to say Agent Black smile. good shit. Hobbes: lol. \"Dodge this.\" Your writing haves potential the dialog between Black and Hobbes was a little wonky though. It worked for Hobbes, but near the end it seemed like Black didn't have the motivation to pull a job in the first place. He kinda gave up cuz he was underprepared, it's not like him. I must say though your coeography IS THE SHIT and your comedy was good and not too cheesy.

Damn good fights from the two of you. Monday - Definitely cleaning up, it's much easier to go through your pages. Some spots are still messy, but that's part of the charm. Hobbes - loved the jokes, and the jokes about jokes. Your posing is a bit funky in some places, but some very nice stuff overall. Looking forward to the next installment.
