Pi even though you did kinda interfere with my story you shouldnt mind coz you did it in an awesome way. I was impressed with your work and thoroughly enjoyed reading your comic and look forward to reading what happens next!

Thanks to everybody who voted and commented. I guess I really raised the bar for myself, which can have its drawbacks, but I'm ready for it. Great fight, Kure, I'm glad I could help put another win on your scoreboard. My battle with Traveler will be a continuation of this story, and since I'm probably going to lose, everybody can pretty much ignore it for plot purposes. Once again, thanks guys, hope I can keep battling and keep improving and surprising everybody.

Kure your artwork lately seems to be more \"imprecise\" than I remember it being - not that that's bad, in fact your art is very good, and I don't mean that to sound like criticism at all, just something I noticed. Your story was entertaining, and very funny. Pi - since you switched to doing art the traditional way I've been enjoying your work a LOT more than I used to. You still omit detail in places where I'd like to see it (in your backgrounds and such) and occaisonally this lends itself to some blandness or wonkiness in your work, but overall it's pretty good stuff. I look forward to the doctors next fight.

Holy SHIT NUTS, boys!! Pi - where the fuck did you come from!? I was HELLA impressed with your comic, I couldn't believe that you did that as well as you did!! ...no offence. Kure - looove eeet, but you know I did, cripes it's just fun all the way through. I gave a slightly *slightly* higher vote to Kure because of the quality (he did ink it pi), but man boys, that was hella good.

I'm sorry Pi I can't help but say that it's pretty lame being your first fight that you only include Dr. Pye in two panels out of 8 pages. votes go to Kure. No offense I didn't watch your battle to see Kure and the Traveler go at it. I'll be looking forward to your future battles and keeping an eye out for improvement.

Both of you; that was awesome! Kure: you're bit with JC was fantastic! The blood, the gore, just... the awesomeness! Pi: Very creative and I liked the play with the order of things, definently a full-up comic! Great fight ^_^

Pi asked for a crit, and this was my reply: --- K... the arm is panel 1 of page 1 is wicked long Some anatomy issues in panel 2 as well, but the shading is quite nice. I quite like panel 3. composition is good, though the text bubble seems a bit cramped. The detail on the background is what I really like, the cracked wall and debris Buildings aren't all that interesting in Panel 1 of page 2. and I really wish you would have used a computer font for the type. It's an interesting plot element to see Pye of The Future, and I like how you broke the panel border here. Shows you're experimenting. But the buildings in the last panel just blow ass Panel 3, Page 3 has a great background, but the rest of the page is severely lacking. That panel has really nice composition and a great angle. It's good all-around. Last one is pretty good too, it's nice to see a difference in the text style too Panel 1, Page 4 is great again. Nice attention to detail with things like the gutter, phone pole, and webbing on the window. Kinetic Multipler is a ncie touch, though I wish the circle were made with a compass or template Panel 2 seems empty... possibly not deserving of a typical background, but just something to fill the space. Dots, repeated shapes... something. Right about now I'm wondering when Pye is going to show up Page 5, Panel 1 is a great angle. Not quite nailing the prespective, but a valiant attempt. Second panel, I start to think you shouldn't mess with Kure too much, as it's his story and up to him to resolve... which it kinda seems like you're heading in that direction here. Panel 1, Page 6 - same great shading as seen on previous pages. The gutter here looks really small. It seems necessary, otherwise we might now know the face is lying against the curb, so I'm not sure what I would have done differently. Possibly a different angle, though the angle on the face is great. Panel 2 is great, but the shading on the mask is obviously inconsistant, and that's not cool for something in the foreground. It's a minor gripe though. Also, it's a great angle for the panel - very movie western inspired, but the other half of the street is completely missing. I would probably have been fine if the next three panels didn't have backgrounds, but for Pye's, he really needs one there. Without it, it's a full half-page without a background. But he finally shows up, and his not being in it previously is explained so all is good Page 7 you've got another half-page without a background, but Panel 1 is dynamic, lots of energy there... still some prespective issues, but it's nice just to see your trying these things. Even better twist that Pye starts controlling Kure here. Page 8 - nice cliffhanger. Gotta give ya props for that. Your own character took a backseat the whole time, but you pulled it off well

kure: Oh man, I loved seeing Kure going all evil dead on those zombies, especially with the 'WTFWJD'? and the following panel XD Pi: I liked how you featured Bill, Tampa, and Kure's mask (I can't remember it's name off the top of my head), but the story wasn't so good, plus it didn't make enough sense. Not enough of Pye. I give this to Kure.

for quality i rated Kures better, but for entertainment and creativity they were about the same, although that WTFWJD thing had me in stitches! awsome stuff Pi you did a great job, and i love that you tied Pye's story so he exists in the future.. pi's had alot of story in there, and i also enjoyed his play with chronological order, but visually kure's was better. since both were done in black and white i had to make my descision on whose looked better.

Yeah, Pi, you've got a swell story going on. It was fun. And for lack of a straighter term, Kure, your's was fabulous.
