You both did fantastic on these, I loved both scar ideas!

Both of these were incredible and heartwarming for different reasons! Both of you came out with some really polished comics, and stories and they were fantastic! Congrats to you both!

I love this comic so much, you did such a wonderful job of capturing Zhanic's spirit, and, aaaaaaaaah he'd be over the moon that anyone saw him for even just a moment as a Hero like that. And that SCAR!!!!!! I love it so much, it's so brutal but also gives me so many ideas for where to go with him after this. I cannot thank you enough for giving my boy such a cool moment. And the visuals for the whole summoning/Varaki sequence were SO COOL. Zhanic firing the bow one-armed gave me CHILLS. aaaaaaaaaa. all my love, and thank you again <3

I gotta say Tgood, I'm always so impressed with your work! I am in awe of your efficiency. it feels like every line is right where it needs to be without any unnecessary marks. the shading and lighting helps sell the full picture and you make it all look so effortless! but I think where you shine the most is the way you weave your stories together! you're doing such a great job of creating an intriguing ongoing narrative about Choko and her efforts to achieve her goals while bumping up against people who still have the passion and hope that she must have had once. I can tell you're going somewhere with it, and I'm excited to see the journey on the way there! the way you wrote Zhanic felt so precious and heroic, and I love that he got to shine! amazing comic and I can't wait for what's next!

I'm so joyfully conflicted between these comics

because both of these are good, Zhanic puts Varaki in the subtext, while Choko puts Varaki in the forefront.

Is that Zhanic depicts Chokos character as angry and aggressive

While Choko Depicts her character as passive. Both seem like the correct character for da coppa, just something I noticed.

But it goes beyond that. CHOKO'S character gets the equivalent of a piercing containing her soul. ZHANIC'S character gets a literal debilitating injury AND an infection.

"vro what did this person do to you, he was just chilling??" And that's why I enjoy both of them so much, it gives me something substantial to ramble about and engage with without being an overwhelming amount of content, rather than "This guy is cool because X or Y, and I personally like him cause he just like me fr."

Dunno if this added anything of importance, but that's what I thought of em!

DANG, this was good. I have to say that the scene of Zhanic fighting Varaki with just one arm, the magical bow floating in air, is such a stunningly cool idea that my jaw dropped when I first saw it hahaha. Your backgrounds are absolutely fantastic here, everything is drawn in such crisp detail. This was an incredibly fun way to set up the scar and the final page of Choko watching with this almost apathetic and cynical expression while Zhanic’s arm stub gets overtaken by a strange void-like shadow is a crazy ending. It leaves me wanting for more, in a good way.

Give us more soon please! Choko is such a fascinating character. Good stuff all around

You did such a good job capturing his sweet demeanor! THE MOMENT HE USED THAT BOW AFTER WHAT HAPPENED TO HIS ARM?! I GASPED. The aura of it all!! The way it almost managed to light a little more hope in Choko before UUUGHHH 😭😭😭

Incredibly entry! Something that really stuck out to me (especially for the first few pages) is how strong your background and prop work is. The whole panel of Varaki holding onto Dairyu is both dynamic and chilling as well.

My favorite part though is, of course, Zhanic's unwavering hope and heroism in the face of such unimaginable danger. Choko thinks him foolish for it, but it was only through such a thing that the idea of another day is even possible. Having his arrow still be summoned and used with just one arm is such an awsome visual to help showcase that idea.

This was such a badass comic with a very terrifying twist. The reveal of who is interloping in the realm of the gods was PERFECT. And the scar was INSANE! I loved the payoff, you're a master of keeping the whole story interesting to the very end. I have a feeling that Choko is about to do something far worse than taking matters further into her own hands. And I have no clue what that looks like or means. But holy shit am I excited for it!

Chills reading through this, I really enjoyed your setup! What a great way to implement Varaki and incorporate the scar. And the double whammy, the arm being gone would have been enough but daaaamn, now he's infected with void or something as well!? Poor Zhanic! Really impressive and lovely storytelling!
