The colours and the conversation do such a good job of unnerving you as you're reading through. I feel like you're kind of a master at making the reader juuust uncomfortable enough to feel the dread and pull back at the right moment. Finishing on a little moment of comfort also feels so nice, you can let out all the tension along with Soo.

Super well done!

A lot of thorough comments here to the point where I'm going to sound a bit like a record, but these words still should be said:

  • Love the display of emotions and how the circumstances of the situation(s) were handled.
  • Doe really handled the critiques here, but I'll definitely just repeat that the balancing of colors to make sure they weren't too eye-straining is appreciated.
  • Where there are breaks in color are so well done and add weight to the dialogue. I really enjoyed them.
  • You've got such a workflow and style down that it's exciting whenever I see you have a comic up. May these boys and Mitsu experience some happiness in the nearby future.

Poor Rowan, and poor Min-Soo. This was an excellent lil comic and I love every little tidbit I get of their past

One thing I wanted to empathize so much is Mitsu's unconditional empathy.. even though it's heavily shown now that she's been keeping an eye on the boys (especially Minjun) her boundless capacity to understand every poor soul's suffering has always been my most favorite thing about her, she's a good soul and this world doesn't deserve her heart. Junsoo has gone through the worst thing this world has given to them, the hard choices they had to make just survive, the burden and regret they have to carry through their immortal life.. painful emotions invoked from start to middle of this comic (I hope you kissed the rock before you threw it at my face just like that man :( /j) and ended the comic so well with Mitsu's powerful empathy..

It's also finally nice to see full reveal Rowan in Entervoid! ever since his presence was known in one of your invitational tournament & the Halloween one I've always looked forward to see more of him. Even though Rowan said it himself he isn't real in this dream.. I have a feeling that says otherwise 👀 considering how the nature and system of your worldbuilding works

Another thing you did so well is, once again, the artstyle. It brought the vibes of this sorrowful comic from start to finish, idk if it's just me but the use of color here wasn't straining my eye at all! My cup of tea even. The way you write stories and your appealing artstyle has helped me get through my own skills in creating comics.. you, especially you, and the others inspired me to keep this gig going, and I'm eating all these masterpieces up.

Awesome job Fuu! The sheer quantity of great comics you have been putting out is super inspiring! Keep going!

glad to see Minjun is not the only one haunted by traumatic nightmares haha. You've been really teasing out this tragic backstory, I'm curious to see where you are taking this and what Mitsuko's role is

    OUGHHHHH OUGHHHHHHH

This is evil of you actually. How dare you do this to me after I killed Rowan in that other comic. /J

The palette for the dream was really cool! Very trippy but not too eye strain-y thanks to the purples balancing out all the vibrant pink and yellow.

I also like how in all the panels where the dream seems to "stutter", the lineart becomes blurry and sketchy.

    Some notes:

  • The background of the last panel with Minsoo and Mikko seems skewed (as if you rotated it to the left); If it was meant to be like that I would recommend pushing it a little more and rotating the characters to fit with the background. If it was not intentional I would suggest using rulers (if your art program has that tool) to guide your hand (if you're using CSP there's a few favourites of mine that really help me out, like the guide ruler and perspective ruler)
  • There could be a liiiitle more contrast between dark things such as Rowan's hair (and shirt), the dream fence, and Mikko. Rowan's hair occassionally blends into the mountains and the fence behind him, and the cat kinda blends into the shadows in the last few pages (but I figure that's more intentional).
  • But yeah it's pretty good. Struggling to think of things to critique here other than the above mentioned. The story works as a comic to provide additional background to your characters

Always very exciting to see more from the duo! This comic does such a good job at portraying that heavy feeling of confronting something traumatic. I really like the visual effects here. They remind me a lot of a distorted VHS. Combined with the colors it really does a good job of making the dream/memory feel a bit fabricated, old, and imaginary. Good stuff, very depressing!
