A couple of your points will be brought up in future comics we have planned, and there is a whole arc here.... but a couple of your points made us seriously stop and think, and make some changes, and I think thats going to be so much better for the story going forward, so I appreciate you! I confess during the writing of this I think I was studying so I wasn't THE MOST present at the script stage, which diminished Lily's part. But because you reminded me of the things Lily would have or should have done, I realized I haven't been paying my girl enough attention, so I'm going to be more involved next time and make sure she's better represented. This comic wasn't as much ABOUT Lily so I don't mind her taking a back seat, but I understand theres some things it wouldn't make sense for her to ignore, so I'll watch out for that in the next installment! Look forward to it!

There's no critique preference here so let me get a little wild:

❣️ Praises:

I enjoy the overall drama being setup with Talon and his reluctance telling his friends what's going on.

Pacing was really good. Really enjoyed reading this comic!

Cute seeing the different coloring styles back to back. Having the consistent lineart for the majority of the pages really highlighted everyone's rendering styles.

❓Consider this the questions and commentary section here:

I'm about to sound like Jonathan Frakes here, but I do so as a fan of these characters and in the hopes of these questions/comments possibly being answered in future comics. The work you all are putting into telling this story deserves it.

Cadenza said to not need her and she'll be back to try 'this' again. Is the 'this' looking for Eli? Interrogating Talon? All of the above? The resolution of the dialogue with the trio was quick compared to the anger and frustration that built up when they were interrogating Talon. Because as that scene wrapped up, I found myself asking "what are Holden and Lily going to be doing in the meantime?" The group almost got into it with a close friend, but what's the next move here for them? Having a "okay while you do X we'll do Y" would have really wrapped that scene nicely.

LILY. Lily Lily Lily LILY. I'm assuming Dr. Evelin is keeping close tabs on the group. I can understand her targeting Talon, but I am really curious why her sights aren't also locked on the other necromancer in the group?

Unless things have changed, Lily can: summon zombies, and feel when people die. She's a warrior of love and her close friend is in danger (of which if Dr. Evelin is keeping close tabs on the group she'd be noticing how heated they were and coming up with contingences). All this to say that I'm really hoping from a narrative/story/etc standpoint that Lily gets a chance to shine because this would be an incredible opportunity for her to while Talon is out. Her abilities would be phenomenal in finding Eli. Or at the very least getting clues until they're all ready to work together,

There's a Chekov's gun that I'm hoping gets pulled from the Edge of Danger comic. Out of all the things for Dr. Evelin to teach Talon, it's one of the few things that can circle back to Eli. When Talon gets his locked in moment (I hope) I'm hoping Dr. Evelin's lessons come back to bite her.

Really curious about the Deacon situation, and hopefully getting an answer as to how Dr. Evelin learned about it. There's a certain Inquisition that would LOVE her talents I'm sure.
