I’m so intrigued by this storyline, and your visual representation of his overdose was haunting and yet beautiful. I enjoy the darker tone, and you do it well! Your art is always gorgeous to look at, and I look forward to your future death matche(s) and what else you have planned for Nathaniel 👀
An absolutely FANTASTIC READ! I especially enjoyed how the second page goes from the chaotic noisiness of the mind, to the evaporation of those thoughts into a more gentle and calm end.
I like how you played with the idea that traumatic events like this can actually shape a person in very different ways. What would be a wakeup call for someone, could become an obsession for another. You already told me of the plans you have in store for them, but if all I had to go on was this comic, you still managed to set a pretty clear path forward. AND I CAN'T WAIT!!!
This is such a dope comic! I need more of this character like right now
I am HYPED to watch someone die now!
...Maybe I do need therapy.
This was amazing!!! Beautiful!!! We get to see fragments of Nathaniel's past and him beginning to take back control of his life (even if its a death path)
Also LOOK AT MARLE!!! He so dead but so handsome!!!
I absolutely loved the colors and effects in this comic Putrid!
This is such a beautiful comic! The pacing is incredible, the colors are gorgeous, and the thought process that Nathaniel goes through is so compelling! I truly cannot wait to see where his story goes, his meeting with death is such a romantic(ally tragic) one, your work is truly inspiring! ❤️
I love how you drew death, its such a fun interpretation that is inspiring.
Very good atmosphere on this one. Really strong narrative and art.
Genuinely a chilling comic, in a fantastic way. The way death is portrayed is really beautiful in designs and colors. Amazing job
INCREDIBLE WORK, MY LOVEEE!!
I've gushed plenty in private, but this deserve it's flowers publicly as well. The effort you put in for just a precursor on whats to come is so commendable. You've improved drastically in every facet as a comic artist; from pacing, to paneling, to just overall quality in character art and backgrounds.
Gorgeous comic from front to back, whoever goes against you can only expect a powerhouse of a creator!!
A comic so arresting that I've cycled through it multiple times already just to keep digesting it piece by piece
Atmosphere: aces
Pacing: aces
Panel composition so intentional it demands stopping to take a closer look each time, sinking into the lines the way Nat sinks through his kaleidoscope of addictions with the same root drive for a release sweet and quiet enough to wash away all the ugly noise of an ugly life
An ending that promises terrible things even as Nat's state of being now feels lighter, purposeful. It doesn't even matter to him if the outcome is his own demise; he's taken a path where all roads lead to the end and that pined reunion, one way or another, sooner or later
Stoked for what this all leads to
