I'll be honest, I didn't think I would make another comic with this character as things didn't go exactly to plan in the tourney that Symone was in. But I had a bit of an idea when I was asked to use this character again. This one I was trying my best to focus on my writing abilities and hopefully I stuck the landing but y'all can let me know how I did.

Plat: Absolutely loved the dialogue here! I'm a very big fan of characters with super black and white worldviews, especially when they're confronted with a more nuanced situation, so this really scratched that itch for me :]

Bobert: Bummer that you couldn't get more done, but what you have is pretty neat! The last page in particular sticks out to me - it looks super cool!

I could have SWORN I commented on these 😭 I'm neck deep in tournament but I'll try to come back at some point and give feedback! I think this matchup is interesting and I wanna learn more about these characters so I understand more of what's going on in these comics.

I think this is one of your best comics yet! The lineart is super clean and crisp, and I really appreciate the difference in line weights! I also really liked Symone's dialogue, with her talking circles around Quicksilver. In places I feel like Quicksilver's dialogue could have used a little more work, since he comes off a tad cliche; I think giving him a moment of doubt would have worked to balance it out a bit! Like showing that he's a little swayed by Symone's words before swinging hard in the other direction. Your speech bubble tails could also use a little work; namely, the base of the tails attached to the bubbles feels way too wide which throws off the balance of the bubbles. Narrowing it up a bit would do a lot to help! Overall though, fantastic job! I love this direction you took with Symone, with having her project an illusion of her former self. Also loved Bird Park loooool

Thank you for the kind words CAB, idk how to even cultivate that endless resilience and work ethic to continue some of these beyond battles but I'm pretty determined still.

Just wanna jump in here and say good job both of you, especially in these busy, chaotic times it's sometimes difficult to find time to make comics, but you two both found the time and the drive to make it happen, keep up the good work y'all.

It was nice. From a detached perspective as a reader and not your opponent I wish it could have been longer. I slightly expected a more combat oriented approach like mine so this was a bit of a surprise execution but there is also several more future battles of course!
